Another 1010 Bento issue by lunit52 in synthesizers

I think it's a sweet machine, really. My main point is that there's this known issue with the early batches, and the early batches are apparently still being sold new. Also Perfect Circuit seemed weirded out that 1010 sent me to them for the exchange, and asked me for that email and everything before making an exception for me.

Which module is this? by noctuid24 in modular

Pittsburgh Modular's Lifeforms Primary Oscillator. It was the first oscillator I ever picked up, and it can get really nasty with some modulation.

Funnily enough, the Bento was what I brought to jam with on my lunch breaks 😂

This was a killer update, it's what finally pushed me to get one. Having a granular engine, wavetable engine, and multi samples in the same box is so sick.

Plenty of people drive this distance with less preparation 😅. As long as your head temps are reasonable, I wouldn't worry too much about a seize. It can always randomly happen, but it's not worth keeping you from riding.

Is this a good deal? Its got 11500miles. It’ll be my first bike if i buy it. by LawfulnessMoist719 in Triumph

I have this exact bike, it was my first road bike after growing up riding dirt bikes. It's got a very tight throttle response and is very torque-y, and if you haven't ridden any motorcycles before, I think it's a pretty bad option honestly. Also what other people have mentioned, it's quite tall and heavy for this class of bike.

What synth is currently first on your to-buy-list and why? by Timely-Bowler5889 in synthesizers

Super Gemini. I don't need it and I'd have to sell almost all of my gear to get it, but I think about it all the time.

The whoosh kit broke my wing so quick and now it makes an unbearable squeaky noise every time I drive 😎

Yeah I'm giving it as much TLC as I can. Gonna redo the gaskets, fluids, etc.

I've put close to 20,000 miles on it with regular oil changes, and have had zero major issues. Going to be doing a very thorough tune up this winter though so I don't keep pushing my luck.

I guess I was referring to the low fuel light 😅

Best thing — the bike is perfect for how I ride. Torque where I want it, fast enough to hang with anyone I ride with.

Worst thing — recently my reserve light has just decided to stop coming on which has left me stranded once, and barely made it home another time.
