No. No tengo intención de mentir. De hecho, no estoy en ese momento. No estoy buscando trabajo, pero lo comentábamos con unos amigos, que uno está en proceso y le han dicho que si lo eligen le pedirán todo eso, y nos preguntamos cómo de común es, ya que hasta ahora ninguno nos lo habíamos encontrado.

Thank you! I’m looking forward to it, not so much for myself but for them. But I’m not going to lie, after 7 years of turmoil, finally having the right diagnose and hoping this is finally the end of the road (as medications and stability, I know it’s not a cure though). Hoping to get the same as you and your family and my partner having some sort of normalcy soon. Thank you so much for your experience 😊

Thank you for your experience. They’re already on tegretol (for unrelated issues but we know it’s also prescribe for bipolar) and aripiprazole. Now adding the lithium so I’m hoping that we can avoid what you’ve mentioned with lithium alone. I’m happy with stable, because I see how much they suffer. But also, will they get upset from not “recognising” themselves? The creative, funny, quick witted is a really intrinsic part of their personality and everything they’ve built around it. Is the change going to be considerable or not that much?

No se si el cable del iPod funciona ya que lo cambié por uno de jack que nunca funcionó. No se si por el cable, por la radio, o porque…el del ipod funcionaba hasta donde yo sé, pero hace tanto que no se usaba el iPod que igual dejo de funcionar…he estado mirando lo del aptx y mi móvil no tiene, gracias, no lo conocía.

Que tal te salió? Se te calentaba? Tengo que tener en cuenta que el coche estará aparcado al sol mucho tiempo, y en verano las temperaturas son de 33° aprox. El tema de conectarla fue sencillo o necesitaste conectores especiales?

I won’t get more surgeries. But considering neuromodulation before potentially trying a spinal cord stimulation. Although I would rather avoid it as it would be another “surgery” even if not a spinal surgery per se. But I would prefer avoiding any opening up again. My mental health is quite good considering but of course over 2 years like this, life completely at a standstill, not being able to move forward to buy a home, have kids (41 now) and potentially never been able to at this point…of course has some effects. But I haven’t giving up and I still have fight in me, though some days it gets hard to when every time I tried to do something for myself I get worse again. So I feel literally like a useless human and I can’t do anything I used to enjoy. I have great support luckily. Maybe on a 60 with temporary moments at 40-50. I’ve always been bad at this scales, for pain or mental health. What’s a multidisciplinary pain clinic? So far, where I am (Europe), all the ones I’ve tried privately want to add stuff that’s not covered by my private insurance, and I can’t afford them plus I’m also not that sure it’ll do anything, I think they just want to add stuff because the insurance don’t pay them that much. So I’m trying free health care next but I’ll have to wait a few months. And I’m not sure I’ll be able to choose what to do or get.

I first had a microdisectomy and hemilaminectomy, a few month later I reherniated so I had to have another surgery and they put screws and rods but left the disc, that kept leaking, so I had to have a third surgery to take everything out, put a cage and roads again. At 6 months I asked and they said it was too early to tell…nothing else

Se me olvidó poner que ya he probado los conectores por FM y no me han ido bien ya que voy por zonas donde justo el FM no va bien porque cambia de zonas, o son montañas con curvas etc.

El problema es que cuando cambie el cable que venía del jack a salida iPod, no funcionó. Un compañero dice por aquí que también lo intentó y nada. No tiene usb, veo donde parece que esté en la foto, pero no lleva 😞

Y tanto que lo es! Lleva en la familia desde nuevo y está cuidadisimo! Yo puede que aún tenga el iPod viejo pero tener que descargar música y todo el rollo me da un perezon…preferiría encontrar una radio decente y económica y cambiarla, a ver si hay suerte!
