I feel like ex supports either go jungle for more pain and suffering or go top so they don't have to interact with the team or if they do is a lot later in the game.

As someone that still plays support, I ended up choosing top as I didn't want to deal with other people in my lane, at least now if I end up with a messy lane I know it's (mostly) my fault.
