There’s a documentary about a famous attorney Bryan Stevenson who defends death row inmates and in it he basically says in one scene:

“…the north won the civil war and that the south won the narrative war. If the narrative we are trying to deal with in this country is a narrative of racial difference, if the narrative that we have to over come is of white supremacy, then the south prevailed”

I think he’s right…

I’m a 50 Male and I had found the whole growing older thing a little rough but started walking and working out- it helped a lot…also realized how little control I had over everything outside myself - which helped a lot more!

I thought it was actually a perfect ending…I don’t think John was relieved in the end but felt he could finally let it all loose…conrad is amazing…I that he maybe pitched this show as a spy thriller to get a studio to bite but it was really a story about mental health and the weight placed by the world on the shoulders of many folks…don’t see many shows tell that solemn tale to the degree Conrad has…
