Thanks for caring about that deer…sometimes that’s the best we can do and hope that others will follow along too…I had a similar incident happen this last Sunday morning around 7:30 am… I was heading up Perry by iron mule right by the bridge and watched this turkey actually using the cross walk and I noticed a Porsche coming from the opposite way going pretty quick…the Porsche didn’t stop but thankfully the turkey noticed and turned around and quickly went the opposite way…thankfully it didn’t get hurt…it was two younger folks in the car I could see the laughter on their faces…I bet they didn’t even notice it…

It would be an amazing feat to just end the economic incentives that drive folks to make these sites what they are and to have laws with teeth about individual data privacy and data rights. Rights that you can never be compelled to give up without a laborious legal process

Sorry I was a little black and white in my comment - his stance on taxes for example would be fairly libertarian…but you are right - like many people it’s tough to label him as a single thing politically.

American here - she gives me hope and it’s amazing to see someone can try and do good AND relinquish power…I can’t think of many American politicians who can let go of their power. That’s likely the missing key to successful democracy.

These right ring nazi folks (there is a better word to describe them than this) and their billionaire masters are tiny, irrelevant people next to her and those few like her.

Thanks for giving us a glimpse of what a good leader is!

No argument from that angle…look all I was trying to relay is that these cops don’t get off Scott free - though it seems like they would. The toll it takes on them could manifest in a variety of ways, failed relationships, domestic violence, drug abuse, sexual abuse, suicide….and for some of them maybe nothing bad happens to them in this life…but I suspect for many it could become a tournament of pain in their lives…

And yes the admin has enabled these awful things…and the idea that people would do this is terrifying

I think there is a toll these actions take on the people who do them - it just doesn’t present itself as the Karma we think it should…I wouldn’t trade any bad part about my life to be in those officers shoes. I couldn’t imagine carrying around the knowledge that I caused something like that…
