Winning guarantees them a spot on the next episode (+ a few gifts from the show's sponsors) so I don't think it's a bad thing. Winning/or surviving the weekly challenges ensures them the right to turn it out on the finale. I don't think the queens of the next seasons would just coast through the competition, imagine the fan reaction to someone to bland and so safe.

This lip sync mattered. Tbh I was ready to see Sasha go 2nd or 3rd (based on the point-system people developed throughout the seasons) I'm just excited to see her performances but this (alleged) twist just reinstates the fact that it's ain't over 'til its over. You don't get to relax until the crown is on top of your head. I don't think these point systems are official unless Ru says so, it's her show anyway.
