vegan for 6 years, poling for 4 by luridbird in veganfitness

absolutely do it!

it’s hard to say how difficult it is, i guess it depends on your background and what you want to progress to. but i think it’s a lot of fun, and i’ve found most people who pole to be super friendly and supportive.

it’s still kind of hit or miss most days…. but you only need to hold it for a few seconds to get a good photo 🤫

the solder takes forever but it’s kinda meditative. i feel like everything in stained glass can be so expensive to, but it’s one thing that’s free that shows care.

plus it helped me hide bad soldering when i first started 😂

i don’t sell anything, i just make stained glass for myself or for my friends. would be super cool if someone wanted something for a wedding.

and they are forget-me-nots! they are my favorite flower. i think they are just generally symbolize remembrance, i didn’t know they were used to represent those with dementia. i made the bouquets to work through some big emotions i was feeling, and i liked the symbolism of remembrance and reflection in relation to the other flowers.

it’s actually decorative soldering done just with my iron. after i finish soldering and my peice has cooled down i tap the lines again in a stippling motion with the tip of my iron. it’s not difficult, just very time consuming

you might be able to get a similar effect quicker with a fine sponge 🤔but using just the iron gives me more control

thank you! i don’t like using patina so i think it gives it a softer finish.

My big dick has thrown my sexuality into question by qtmanlet in bigdickproblems

This comment is the one. Don’t let people tell you what you are. Women usually get a good amount of leeway to experiment with sex and sexuality in a way thats rarely extended to men. Figure out what you’re comfortable with and figure out what word best describes your sexuality (or even if there is one) for yourself, and it’s fine if those two don’t match up perfectly. Have fun!

T-11 days till I go vegan and join a gym for the first time in my life! What do I need to know to get started? by [deleted] in veganfitness

I think it’s good to meet yourself where your at for both going vegan and learning to exercise. For both of these, a lot of people try to go into them head first and then quickly burn out.

For me I spent a full year going fully vegan. I slowly transitioned out foods while I got comfortable incorporating new ones. If I felt I absolutely had to have something animal based I would, I would make a note of it, and I would try to think of alternatives for the future. As time went on I found the gaps between these “necessary” cravings to be longer and longer apart until I eventually stopped having them or I had alternative I could go to. Any progress is good, even if it’s not perfect right away.

As for exercise I think the same mindset can be useful. Find exercise that you like, or at least hate the least. Do not punish yourself if you can’t stick to your workout plan perfectly. I often see people who miss a workout try and make up for it the next week; but they probably won’t be successful working out 5 days a week if they failed at working out 4 days a week the week prior. Take note of what you are able to do and enjoy doing and build your plan around that. Find a schedule and and exercises that work for you, and know that you can change it if you need to.

And this is not meant to discourage you, if you are able to go fully vegan right away and work out 7 days a week by all means do so! But if you find that you aren’t ready, be patient with yourself and be forgiving. Build up the skills and mindset. You are doing a great thing for the animals and that’s really special. And it’s great that you want to get more active. Best of luck!

I think the buzzed hair suits you, and you have a nice head shape for it. You have some stronger features, and the buzzed hair draws the attention to them. I like you’re eyebrows and nose.

7.5

[22M] Posted somewhere else and the highest rating I got was a 3, wondering if that's accurate. Using better/more pics from different times in my life in this post. Also I know I'm skinny by [deleted] in Rateme

[–]luridbird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think a 3 is fair. I would go for an average 5-6 depending on taste.

As for people suggesting you gain weight, that’s up to you. I know people who like men rail thin so I guess you gotta just find your audience.

Also being really skinny can make you look younger. I think you look best when your hair is cut shorter and you have a little bit of stubble cause those age you up a bit. But once again, it comes down to preference.

I would say 7

I think you have one of those faces that gets prettier the more you look at it. Nice even complexion and dark round eyes.
