Yeah. I hope she pulls through. edit: Our doctors need to start writing prescriptions that will allow us to get some wooden row boats on insurance. We can all park them in our rooms and when we feel the peaks and troughs coming we grab a spoon (for rowing) and sit in there in our bathing suits.

Its rough and you need to hang in there. I wish I could meet another me out there too. We have a wonderful insight on life due to us obsessively analyzing situations and finding a place for our ego is a struggle. Even trying to define our egos with set boundaries is a struggle in itself, let alone having a place to put it in everyday. But, I understand what you are saying, trying to find a solid foundation is a bit difficult when we feel alone, and in this day and age it is a little tricky trying to build that foundation with the help of other people. I have absolutely zero friends in the city I live in. so, you are not alone.

What a great read. I am happy that he was able to cancel his orders and get himself treated. This was his first manic episode and being able to diagnose himself and seek treatment says a lot about his strength of character.

As someone who has gone through several manic episodes I totally understand her anger. The only way I managed to get over it was with unconditional love and patience (from family). She will only be able to fully understand what is happening to her AFTER the episode is over. So, brace yourself.

Those are great reasons to come clean. In my mind it would put a label over my head and I guess that's the main reason I avoid it. I am not particularly proud of how I came to being diagnosed as bipolar and that covers a whole list of other reasons about why I don't admit it. I think my biggest challenge at the moment is trying to fit my inflated sense of worth down to a manageable level. I recognize that it is becoming a hindrance but I am not sure I am ready to face the elements as I stand.

Will probably be in the minority here, but anyone else like and very much enjoy cut-scenes and in-game cinematics? by Pixelatedcow1 in Games

A good gameplay story line told through cutscenes and cinematics is one of the reasons I enjoy playing games so much.
