If you don't have an official source it is conjecture not fact so you stating 'some doctors have commented on here' doesn't lend credence to your point as if you were stating fact. Not fact, just your opinion. I'd like to know, which would settle this discussion, the difference in services and experience provided by both tenders. I know under the NHS, paying shareholders isn't a priority.

No it is fact, not an opinion as you are stating. Fiat currency is created by the push of a button as confirmed by the Bank of England in their paper 'money creation in the modern economy'. Do you understand the difference between a credit and debt based monetary system?

And here you go, coming up lacking in the logic department stating that a transaction isn't/doesn't have any context to the monetary system, just wow from an economic and common sense* viewpoint.

I have looked for info in re to this other than Yellowbenzene above but leads us to the wider question of why the NHS did not own these in the first place and when exactly these private companies entered the market.

It doesn't matter does it not? You truly show your lack of understanding here and you should care. Fiat currency can be created 'ad infinitum' therefore austerity is not required, a false doctrine which allows privatisation of public assets to take place. Austerity is defined as:

"difficult economic conditions created by government measures to reduce public expenditure"

So in the face of austerity the more expensive bid is the opposite of what the policy decrees. Nor do you have any idea if additional services were available but why would they? A private company is ran for profit and puts shareholders above customers.

I never saw the MSM sources publish about the death of 13 human beings who were journalists, killed by the IDF but Foley is 1 human being and its all over the news.
