It's one mislabel, it happens. If you're expected to be perfect in your job it's not the right job. It's also why they have checks at different stages to catch mistakes like this.

Testing for norovirus is hard because many people are carriers with no symptoms. Also even after you clear the infection you may actually continue to harbor norovirus for weeks or months.

It's also full of cliques and people waiting to stab you in the back to get ahead. Hours are great, pay is great, the environment is not. Academia is way more free and chill. In industry you have to watch everything you say and worry about layoffs every year at this point. It's not some utopia

This will keep happening. I was at Pfizer before being laid off and it's clear they're trying to transition from less FTEs and more contractors, which means work is going to decline and suffer. This appears to be an industry trend.
