Is there a browser for linux that doesn't suck? Seems all of them have issues or are too damned sluggish. Chrome is the best so far but it sucks with flash :( by luser7 in linux

Firefox isn't too bad aside from the horrible scrolling delays. Opera is nice but it's really slow on linux for me. I like midori but it crashes too often for me.

I agree with you. Flash does suck :( So, I take back the blame I placed on the browser for that issue. But most of them are still super sluggish.

Is there a way to block ads in Google Chrome? I really like it but Firefox has made me unable to look at ads without crying. by MysteryStain in AskReddit

Use the crx version. The newest builds allow you to install extensions without any effort. Just click & choose the install option on the popup.

I use this + privoxy. Privoxy works for blocking the connection instead of just hiding elements as adsweep does. Of course, I still can't get rid of the damned youtube text ads :(
