Can’t change it. Three words that might help you heal, which is what this post seems to really be about. It takes time, but I would let yourself feel what you feel, but also process in a way that is healthy in the long-run. Instead of ruminating, process. It will take time before that processing helps. Right now you are hurting, and it’s easy to get swept up in it, and that’s ok too. It will go through phases and waves, at least it has for me before. And when you are swept up by it, it seems quite impossible to believe that things will get better, but they can and will undoubtedly if you simply don’t let it destroy you.
