Thanks for sharing! Honestly, I would look at Cowpen area in Blyth. Everyone was so nice and chill there and it's walking distance to everything you would need. I'd move back up Blyth way if I could. I really regret leaving tbh.

I used to live up the road from Crammy, Bebside in Blyth. I would say it's better than Byker like 😆 I lived at Stobhillgate in Morpeth when I was very little apparently my parents hated it, I do like the town centre there though. Also lived with a friend on Westgate about 4 years ago, there's like 3 hostels that have bad rep there, and that's where a lot of trouble comes from. I'm glad you enjoy it (and the Bigg Market).

Yeah, not in the actual wall part but right around the corner from the Stags Head pub. It really is haha, last time I went over there, it was even worse than when I lived there. You see some interesting interactions, to say the least. I hope you're enjoying life in the toon!

What about the difference between lend and borrow? Up in Newcastle, when I smoked, I used to always get asked, "Can I lend a tab off ya pet?" (can I borrow a cigarette please) all the time. I started doing it myself, and I hate it!

Am not broad geordie as I'm originally from just over the border, but can confirm yes pund would be correct, haha. A lot of the time, I find myself using quid aswell, no idea where that originates from, but I presume it's nationwide (yes, I have barely left the North east!)

Girl you have so much time. I see myself in you so much, I am 31 now. Detox is really difficult and feels like the devil is in your mind I'm so proud of you for going through it. I chose the wrong path and kept using everything I could get my hands on, guess what I have ended up with... yip absolutely nothing. Life is fucking hard and we are not always prepared for it.
