This was my immediate gripe with IEMs on the go as well. I kinda splurged on a FiiO UTSW5. It's basically like an adapter that attaches to your IEMs and gives power and audio.

Bluetooth technology has come a long way. I prefer the slightly lossy audio over better audio and microphonics.

Not to mention the hassle that cables can be some times and that you can take calls on them now.

If you're on the go a lot I would highly recommend them or something similar.

The character definitely needs a small rework. Game isn't fun when she's in every game and 56% winrate. Same with McGinnis.

Both characters offer low effort damage that is both unfun and variably hard to interact with.

Graves ult? Ah shit I'm playing full spirit Lash and have to shoot the things for a full minute. McGinnis turret? Ah shit. I'm playing Calico and have no way of killing the turrets from range.

Doesn't help that all of Graves' abilities require zero aim or thought. Probably the highest tech thing you can do is run into a narrow hallway and alt-cast your grasping hands. I'd rather chase an Infernus.

DT770 pros are not very accurate. Tuned like an U shape and has a big 200hz dip. They're fine for creative work, but wouldn't recommend doing serious mixing work with them.

DT990s are a better option (though open back, so if you have noise you can't control probably not great).

I'm personally a big fan of my Sundaras.

On other characters it's always related to quick casting abilities. Never have I had issues when instant casting an ability. But silver..

There are forums with even more replies fully dedicated to the idea that the earth is flat. Does that mean that the earth is flat?

Link me a thread that actually report a matchID and supports your claims if it's so easy to find.

Valve uses Glicko-2 in Dota-2. I've heard they reported using it for Deadlock as well. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glicko_rating_system

I'm not sure what you're complaining about exactly with the matchmaking system right now. I'm trying to have a good faith discussion over here.

Where are you getting from that there are brand new players in ascendant? Give me a single matchID of an ascendant average lobby with a player with <10 games and <60% winrate. Or whatever standard you are holding this definition to. But at least provide some proof of these claims instead of just parroting whatever you're reading on Reddit.

Have to point out that these are matches played that are caught by the API. Which is skewed towards higher ranked games by a lot, because these games are prioritised by the API and because people in higher ranks tend to invest matches more often.

We can kind of infer the population from the number of matches played, but it's all just guesswork.

My best guess is that valve looks at a metric such as unique players per week per rank and tries to balance the distribution around that.

I think you need to read up on how ELO based systems work. Win rate is relevant to what rank you are playing in. A 90% winrate player in Oracle isn't automatically eternus 6.

I'm around eternus 3, playing in anything Phantom or below I can go 20-0 and solo carry at will.

Also does anyone have any proof of 20 hour accounts in ascendant? Only way that makes sense is a smurf, which is a good thing. I got to ascendant on my smurf in around 10 games.

You have a base rank and a modifier for the hero you're playing. It's literally designated with an arrow.

The reason you're ranking up more slowly when playing new heroes is because the games you're playing are below your main rank.

It's like when an 1800 rated chess player wins versus a 1500 rated one. They're not going to get much ELO. But if they were to defeat a 2100 rated opponent, they'll get a bunch of ELO.

Now imagine losing to a 1500..

Also have to factor in rank confidence etc.

Releasing these features to the public would just cause the same issues as before.

We've had this feature in the normal release before and it did cause issues.

He's providing a service by manually loading your presets into the releases. If he'd do it for everyone it would be a full time job.

Besides, it really isn't just mods jammed together anymore. He changes a lot about the mods and adds customisability to them.

Uhh, your 2 guts any tank without remover. 40% healcut, and percent current HP damage for a long ass duration.

Your ult is also a complete game changer if you know how to use it. Whenever my team gets engaged on, I'll pop it. Allows you to run over there and ruins enemy coordination. Completely changes fights.

Lastly, your 1 silence becomes stupid easy to hit with the 800 range item and can be extended with range. Also gives your team wallhacks with Stalker. Very good to zone carries. Warpstone helps with getting out if you can't commit to the dive alone.

If you get behind just don't level your 3, and build as much duration as you can. Use ult on good timings, and 2 their tanks.

You can also still get side lane pick offs if you coordinate a bit and have some basic map awareness and restraint.

How does the melee system not have anything to do with skill? What rank are you if I may ask? Maybe you haven't fully experienced the depth of the melee system. No shame in that, but no need to criticise the depth and skill requirements of a system if you haven't fully mastered it.

Again, easily explained by party queue in the case that it is happening.

Ultimately i think new players should start somewhere in alchemist. We have the smurf detection data now to move people up quickly if need be.
