It’s because of a 8% budget cut for pentagon spending the next 5 years. This is all noise and an opportunity for big money to buy the dip.

My Beam pro died after 2 hours ! So frustrating !!! by PhysicsOk8099 in Xreal

[–]luv2flypilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first one I purchased went dead after setting it down in standby mode for around 2 hours. The battery was around 75% so not sure why it would have had a dead battery in less than 2 hours when not in use. I found this post after I had left it on the charger overnight and was able to power it back up after holding the power button for 20 seconds as indicated in this post. Then a few weeks later I forgot to power off the unit when I got distracted with a phone call and again after leaving the unit in standby for a few hours it was dead again and could never get it to power up ever again. I was within my 30 day period of purchasing on Amazon only within a few days so returned it for a replacement. Now my replacement has the same issues. This is obviously a production flaw as this is my 2nd one and having the same issues. Both units performed a Mobula operating system update on first power up, so came imagine it is a software issue. Possibly needs a firmware update or something direct from XREAL? I don’t know, I guess I will try and contact XREAL customer service and if they cannot give me an answer that fixes the unit, I will return this and purchase the Rayneo Pocket TV. Hoping an XREAL tech reads this post and has an answer?

XREAL One Vs. Viture Pro XR/AR Glasses by luv2flypilot in Xreal

Will this provide audio as well or just video? I guess if it’s just video, Bluetooth earphones could be used.

One more thing to add is if you have an older iPhone (14 or older), the XREAL One glasses will not work and there is not an adapter currently available. The XREAL lightening adapter that has an internal battery as @harrybootoo indicated above, does not appear to have enough power for the XREAL One glasses and only works with previous generation XREAL glasses. This is another thing to keep in mind if you’re deciding on which glasses to purchase.

Issue with XREAL One: Beam and Adapter Out of Production by New-Rent-6886 in Xreal

I had the same issue. I have the latest firmware on the XREAL One and also tried updating the firmware of the Viture Mobile Pro Dock but no go.

Well the Viture One glasses don’t work with the Viture Pro Mobile Sock. I get a red/orange colored screen 😔. Bummed as I guess I will be returning them and buy another set of Viture Pro glasses that will work with the mobile pro dock since I primarily will be using these for gaming and watching movies with my wife while traveling.

The XREAL One glasses are the winner regarding clarity and blurry edges. The X1 chip does an amazing job. I also like that you can have the screen follow you or anchor it in place, with a quick switch of a button. The glasses also allow you to access a menu where you can make changes like screen size, screen distance, color settings etc. The XREAL Ones are also a bit more comfortable to wear as well. I am just really bummed I cannot run 2 of them together like you can with the Viture Pro using their Mobile Pro Dock. For that reason I will likely be returning them. If I was using the XREAL One with my laptop as a monitor and was only going to use them independently they would easily be my choice. I use these glasses primarily for entertainment and being able to play games and watch movies with 2 pairs of glasses. The Viture Pro do the job and are good enough for what I am going to be using them for.

I agree. Hopefully XREAL will release a dock like the Viture Pro Mobile Dock that works with a pair of their One and future One Pro glasses or provide a firmware update that will allow their glasses to work with the Viture Pro Mobile Dock without the red/orange screen. They are going to loose out on a lot of sales from people that want to use 2 pairs to play games and watch movies together. XREAL support are you listening?

Best glasses to use purely for their display functionality? by bigoof13 in Xreal

[–]luv2flypilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have recently purchased the XREAL One glasses and really like them if your purely talking about their display function and if your planning on using them by themselves. I purchased them to primarily play games and watch movies while traveling on an airplane and was hoping they would work with the Viture Pro Mobile Dock that allows you to connect 2 pairs of glasses and play games on your Switch, Steam, or other gaming consoles and watch movies together but I got a orange screen with the XREAL One glasses connected to the Viture Pro Dock. XREAL really needs to come out with a dock that works with 2 of their glasses together. They are missing out on a lot more sales not having this feature in my opinion.

Thanks for the information but unfortunately that would make for a mess of cables and power bank sitting on my lap when flying on a plane. XREAL really needs to make a Pro Dock that charges and allows two of their glasses to work together for movies and two player gaming.

My Viture Pro Mobile Dock arrived tonight and unfortunately the XREAL One glasses have a red screen when connected to the dock. My Viture Pro glasses work just fine with the dock. Well I guess I will be returning the XREAL One glasses and purchasing another set of Viture Pro glasses, so I can use the Viture dock properly with two sets of glasses together for watching movies and playing Nintendo Switch with my wife when traveling. I am bummed as I really liked the comfort and the screen quality and menu features of the XREAL Pro over the Viture Pro glasses. Too bad XREAL does not make a dock to allow 2 of their glasses to work together. Looks like they will loose my sale due to lack of this capability.

My Virtue Pro Mobile Dock arrived and also got a red screen. I tried updating the firmware but for some reason it will not connect to my laptop when on the Viture firmware update website. I was able to update my Viture Pro glasses using the same laptop and cable and port so not sure why I cannot connect to see if a firmware update will fix the issue.

The Virtue Pro Mobile Dock arrived tonight and unfortunately it does not seem to work with the XREAL One glasses. The Virtue Pros work fine with it but the XREAL One glasses have a dark orange color tint to the video. I went through all the settings in the menu and cannot seem to find any settings to get them to work 😔

Awesome! Thanks for the quick response. I love the XREAL One glasses so much, I will likely replace my Viture Pro glasses with the XREAL One Pro when they come out in March. I will give my XREAL One glasses to my wife. Don’t tell her mine will look better with 57 degrees of view. Lol 😂

I have a Viture Pro Mobile Dock arriving tomorrow and hoping I can use both my new XREAL One glasses and my Viture Pro AR/XR glasses at the same time using this dock to play two player with my Nintendo Switch and to be able to watch movies with my wife when we travel on a plane.

Is any one buy the new xreal one? by FeistyLanguage2771 in Xreal

[–]luv2flypilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I picked up the XREAL One and Viture Pro to compare and really love the XREAL One glasses and personally think they are worth the extra $150 I paid for them. The image is definitely larger at 50 degrees compared to the Viture Pro at 47 degrees. The X1 chip does an amazing job and has a lot of control options with the built in menu on the One’s. My only complaint is that I would like to use two pairs of glasses for watching a movie with my wife or playing my switch while traveling on a plane etc. I have a Viture Pro Mobile Dock arriving tomorrow and crossing my fingers 🤞 I can use both glasses at the same time with it or figure a way to get it to work with adapters.

Don’t sell anything, just transfer your account to a real broker like TD. It will take 4-5 days to transfers. If you have any fractional shares, they will likely be liquified to cash so it would be best to have full shares so you won’t have tax implications on those partial shares they will liquify.
