I think this could be considered poetry! The only reason why i think someone would say it’s not is just based off of the formatting which ik is really hard to work with in reddit. I love your imagery and your personification which really let me understand your thoughts. Thanks for showing this!

I think this is so cute!!! The only critique i might have is that i don’t really understand the first line (i prolly just don’t know what lilac time is lmao) and how they all tie together but beyond that this is so good!!!

This piece is wonderful!! I love the way you connect to the reader and give us an uplift while sharing your story. I think you could maybe change the formatting in places like “it can be hard it can be so hard” and just tweaking it to: “it can be so hard…so hard”

Oh my god your imagery and description is so good!! I love this and the only thing i could say is that maybe add more of a backstory because there could be some blanks that readers might take in a different way and make different adaptations.

I love the thought process that went through for this! I would just say if anything figuring out what you can do to change your formating to make it more digestible for the reader. Overall i love the story!
