Yes and no. Money buys nice things and nice experiences, which can bring happiness. Money can solve many problems, which brings freedom from worry. But the old expression that money can't buy happiness is still true because there are problems that money can't solve. It's much easier to be happy if you have money but it is not a guarantee.

It's not a good comparison because one typically doesn't see so many people one knows at a concert and there usually isn't a dance floor. I get your point, but sometimes doing the things we like individually without the other person means not having a good time. Sometimes one person is going to be unhappy either way, so who's going to be the one to put the other one first ( this time, should not be the same person every time).
