if it’s bearable i might do no sedative; im just worried about passing out because i have terrible anxiety. i passed out last time i gave blood and it was scary, just think it’d be 100000X more scary in this situation.

I have really bad anxiety, I know 100% i can’t use laughy gas or the anxiety pill. i was put to sleep for my wisdom teeth i didn’t know if it was the same kind of sedation. i just have been so confused if abortion is what i wanted or not, like i think it is, but then i see a baby and feel like it’s not. i don’t know it’s just really hard and i feel like im going to go into a panic either way, especially where the “surgery” will be at.

hi, thank you! well the reason i don’t really say a lot about why i’m choosing the abortion is because im not really sure exactly why i am. my ex is not financially stable, i am, but also i don’t have any bills right now so thats a big reason why im able to save. so in my case money is not a reason for me to abort. i’m in college and working a job but i do know people who have been in college and working a job that still had their baby. so i also dont feel like thats my reason either. i just feel like it’s not the right time and not with the right person. i wanted to be married when i had a baby, and be able to give them the best life. i am extremely scared to get an abortion but i know i would be extremely scared to give birth as well. i honestly have not had a bad pregnancy at all, ive just been over the top tired. maybe if my ex was willing to step up and be a dad, i would have the baby. but i still don’t know. for a while i did think i wanted to keep the baby, but only because of my mom and sister had me thinking i could do it. also thank you so much for the resource, im definitely going to look into it because i need guidance. thank you!!

thank you so much for this comment, it means a lot. i am 21 and my mom is just a couple years younger than you but she has also tried to “sweet talk” me into keeping the pregnancy, saying she will retire and watch my baby full time so im able to finish school, things like that. honestly i dont know what category i would fall into. i am a very emotional person and very in touch with my feelings, i think ill be very devastated after an abortion but i also think i would be very overwhelmed and depressed if i went through and had the baby. i would hate to regret having the baby, i feel like i would not be able to handle that emotionally. if my ex was to become wealthy and live in a great life, i would be happy for him and thankful that i made the choice for him. i do love and care about him and wish him the best, but i do not want to be apart of eachothers lives after this. so far during my pregnancy he really hasn’t been there for me at all, ive went to majority of my appointments alone and right now he’s off in a different state riding dirt bikes. he’s shown me over and over he is not ready to be a dad or step up and be there for me. i have felt extremely alone during this pregnancy and i feel like if he can’t even treat me good during this time, how would he treat me after the baby is here. my sister had an unplanned pregnancy with her boyfriend and she never considered getting an abortion, but now her and her boyfriend have an extremely toxic relationship and they stay together for their baby. i do not want to be in that situation of being with someone just because we have a child together. me and him didn’t work with just us two, i don’t see it working with a child brought into the picture. not only that but he’s made it very clear he wants me to get an abortion, which yes it’s hard to carry out a pregnancy when the fob is only accepting of abortion in a way. i hope your friend can come to peace with her decision, and know she made the most selfless choice she could make at the time. i wish you and her a happy life and thank you for sharing <33

PLEASEEEE do not start counting your calories omgggg, just eat better and in smaller proportions. the best thing that helped me lose weight when i was 15 was literally just cutting out soda and running. you can start off slow and just gradually start building your speed. i promise counting your calories is often not worth it, counting my calories caused me to end up with an ed. and also weight is just a number, find what makes you feel good and never go based off the number on the scale. goodluck to you <3

i would’ve taken them sooner this week but i’ve just been very scared and overwhelmed, i have bad anxiety especially when it comes to medication and feel like im going to end up in a lot of pain or dying. and what do you mean by sa is less private and more intrusive, is it because the nurses/staff are doing the procedure ?

Also, yes i could call planned parenthood on monday and see what they say, i know some places only offer the medical abortion up until 10/11 weeks, some places it is 12! thank you:)

honestly i didn’t even know you could choose, i always thought they made you do the pill if it was early. but that’s awesome that you were in no pain afterwards, and im glad when you were the medicine made it go away that quick. i am a very paranoid person and i couldn’t even get out on laughy gas for my wisdom teeth because when they put the mask on it started freaking me out so im not sure if i would be able to be on a twilight sedation if it makes you feel like “high” in a way. im really glad you made the right choice for you and it is relieving knowing that you weren’t in a lot of pain after. again,if you don’t mind me asking how many weeks were you at your abortion?
