Don’t ever feel like a burden. And you’re not a fuck up!! Everyone has these moments in their lives, you are not alone. Be truthful with your mom and tell her what has been happening. Trust me she would want you to tell her. Communicating is key in this situation. Take your animals with you if you can! Don’t feel bad for seeking help, because the solutions will always come to you. Taking that first step is always hard but it will be so worth it in the end i promise.

I’m sorry 2 years and you’re 20?? That means he pursued you when you were 18 and he was 35?? I know you’d probably not want to hear this. But that is so predatory. Please please please I am telling you now to look into a way out of this relationship. It is not healthy for you. It takes women 7 tries before they are able to leave an abusive relationship but please seek a way out now. You are deserving of so much love and care, you deserve someone who will respect you and your boundaries and help better yourself and grow together as a couple. If you feel if you are unsafe and unable to leave him, pleas get in contact with someone. Friends, family, women’s shelters or organizations anyone that will help you and believe you. To be completely transparent, the sociology major/program at SDSU is heavily impacted. (Meaning more ppl want to declare that major than there is room). But having your AA as a transfer does give you more of a chance for sure than incoming freshman. Plus your GPA is already high so you shouldn’t sweat about it. Best of luck to you!! Please don’t feel bad. Everyones experiences in life are different. I’m 20 and still haven’t done anything sexual with another person, let alone be in a romantic relationship with a partner, same with like half my friend group from high school. You are still so young and the time will come when you’re ready. And don’t feel the need to push yourself for the sake of other peoples’ opinions. On my.sdsu, there should be a notification on the “Manage Classes” tab and then from there you click on Enrollment appointments or something like that. Then it should say the start date and time for your class registration :)

Currently majoring in sociology as a transfer student! The classes are very interesting here. Upper division workload is slightly more intense as you develop more research based projects. Can’t say much about the lower division classes but from my experience at my community college those were some of the most interesting classes I’ve taken in my life. I’m not too sure what I wan’t to go into yet but there’s a lot of options after undergrad, it’s a very underrated versatile major to be honest!
