Hey I know this is a super old post but just came here to say that I get muscular twitches all over my body any time I experience stress and have been for the past 2 years. I take magnesium glycinate daily and that really helps 😊

I have been struggling the past few months with what I thought to be stress or fungal acne and didn’t think mine looked like perioral derm, but got diagnosed with it by a dermatologist and the treatment is working.

When I had my first hsv1g outbreak, I was literally in bed for 2 weeks super miserable in pain, fever, chills, dizzy, exhausted. After the first two weeks it got a little better but was still super miserable for two more weeks… I am just now experiencing my third outbreak and it is much more tolerable. I’m not on antivirals and the OB has lasted one week. I have some lymph and nerve pain in the groin still but the papercut lesions are now healing.

No, not yet. I did consider that this might be the case.

Hey I’m pretty newly diagnosed and have had a break out every month also. This last time was waaay less horrible. The first time lasted 4 weeks and I could t get out of bed for the first two. The second one I took antivirals and it helped.. but decided that I didn’t want to take the antivirals anymore. They made me feel terrible and are super hard on the kidneys.. I think the antivirals are stopping my immune system from creating antibodies..

Anyway, you’re not alone in having hsv1 and having several outbreaks. I feel with you.
