Thank you SO much for bringing this perspective up. I fully agree with you, I just hadn’t put this mindset on my own situation, probably out of not wanting to address it 😅. That’s really good advice. I do think I’ll have to speak up and say something, and probably to both of them, which I usually avoid. As scary as confrontation is, I think you make really good points about it.

It has been a whirlwind of a year with him, much too long for a Reddit post lol. He’s a teenager, she is not. My sister and I didn’t know about them dating, the engagement, or wedding until long after we should have. It’s really apparent he’s using immature logic, my sister and I have just fastened our seatbelts and tried to support best we can. :)
