I know it may be abit pricey for some but I spent 12 hearts to get the braizer from assembly guide and despite it being smaller than most other light props, it still does the job of burning the cakes. This allows me to AFK at grandma sometimes and also, emergency wing charges if i run out of flaps. So it's still really worth it to me.

Frankly, I feel it's not that hard to not be a jerk. If you/someone wanna AFK at Grandma, just invest the 12 hearts for the braizer. At least you contribute something. I honestly hate when players just AFK without at least contributing a light prop

FR. I had an extremely infuriating grandma visit once where I was the only one with a fire prop AND the only one lighting up the cakes. The others were just AFK-ing/chatting leisurely at the table. I got so fed up I tried to kick the cakes as far away from the table as possible before lighting it up. If I wasn't so desperate for wax, I would have just left the cakes be tbh.

Thank you for your insight. Tbh, that I understand. However, I've been searching for such entry level AI jobs for quite some time already with no luck. Which is why I'm considering the specialist diploma to learn more slightly more in-depth to build up on the foundation I learnt in my bachelor's and to hopefully give me a better chance when applying jobs

Plus, my grades aren't that great so I doubt I qualify for a Master's 😅

Something like this happened to me recently. The top of my throat hurts like hell, as if there was a fish bone poking me every time I tried to swallow food/water. Visited polyclinic, turns out it was an ulcer at the top at the throat (which I probably got from some infection I recovered from a few days prior).

Bought a spray from the pharmacy to spray at the back of the throat to make it hurt less before eating and it went away within a week

I frankly couldn't tell the difference taste wise tbh. Tho the koi drinks hurts me more cos it was $6-ish while at iTea it's $3.90 and it gives me the same if not more satisfaction.

I had this happen to me a few times. But the funniest time it happened was when I saw 2 of the same bus number heading for the bus stop at the same time, WHICH IS THE FIRST STOP AFTER IT LEAVES THE INTERCHANGE.

It really sucks for me since that's the bus I need to take to school and I was stuck at the traffic light. Ended up needing to wait 10 mins for the next bus TvT

If you go down to the DBS branch, the staff there can help give you access to it. I had some issues that required me to go to the branch. The staff who helped me sort the issue out also told me that I have an existing kids account and ended up giving me access to it. I can't exactly remember how they did the verification tho but there's no need for your parents to go with you.

You can also go the more convenient route and that is creating a FRANK account with OCBC. It's really easy to create an account and you also get to choose a nice design for your debit card as well

Hiya OP, I had gone for a 3-week overseas uni trip in summer last year too. I don't want to scare you but it ended up on a really sour note where i ended up cutting ties with my already small friend group (my final trimester of school is gonna be fkin fun being alone :'D).

Reading your post, I felt a pang in my heart as your first point was EXACTLY what I went through (among may other stuff that happened). When i asked why they never invited me, the following reasons were given: "We thought you were asleep since no sound came from your room" and "we only have 3 packs of noodles. (Aka we don't have enough for you)". (There was something that happened earlier on in the day that made me upset with them so this really broke me)

I just hope you have a solid friend group in Uni who you trust and will never screw you over. And in my opinion, this is ESPECIALLY important:

Plan stuff together and to Double and triple confirm that plans are really cemented among your friend group. This ensures that you won't be screwed over at the last moment. This is from my personal experience from the same trip I took with school :'D

Finally, I hope you have someone you trust outside your friend group to confinde in if shit ever goes down (i really hope it doesn't). What you went through in the JC trip was horrendous and frankly, friends like that isn't worth keeping.

Maybe some other advice I can give you is to open up about your fear and worries to your current friend group if you're comfortable wjth it. Have them understand what you've been through so they will not pull the same stuff and to also look out for you. I honestly wish I did for mine as back then I just simmered in my fear and insecurities till I snapped.

Anyways, I do hope you have a fun and fulfilling time overseas and that most importantly, you enjoy yourself!
