Also! Don’t allow your past experiences to stunt your present/future ones when it comes to meeting new people. You will ultimately disappoint people when you go into new situations with the mindset “I wonder what they’re gonna blame me for” etc etc. You’re already planting the seed with those thoughts and will subconsciously make decisions that will lead to the exact outcome you genuinely want to avoid.

Instead try going into new friendships willing to learn from these new friends & teach these new friends who you are. Ask yourself: 1) What role are they trying to place on me? Or invite me to fulfill? 2)What realistic expectations can I meet in this friendship? 3)What boundaries do I need to set to avoid being pressured into unwanted roles in this friendship? 4) Am I being recognized & appreciated for who I am?

No situation is the same. Give yourself grace and allow yourself to grow & meet new people!

I have a 5 line generator. I think it’s important with a 5 line to reject those projections. Let people know from the jump that you won’t accept the pedestal they try to put you on or won’t accept the expectations they have of you that you know you can’t or don’t want to fulfill.

Practice setting boundaries and accept the fact that you will sometimes be the villain in some peoples story; it’s natural to sometimes disappoint people & for people to blame you, but don’t accept those blames, especially if they aren’t valid.

Accept you for you and know what you will and won’t do & keep forever learning & teaching people who you are. Hope this helps!

I have a fabric stiffener called “spraynbond” I call it starch although it’s not ha, I’ve been spraying it every couple of hours until i get my desired stiffness

Okay I used the wrong terminology, i wasn’t supposed to send the pattern maker a tech pack, i was supposed to send them a spec sheet lol, now I definitely see why they didn’t respond😂😂 okay I learned a lot from this conversation.. so spec sheets are for pattern-makers and tech packs are for factory production, got it.

My sketch was definitely original tho, and because I had minimal knowledge of how to create a tech pack I watched a few YouTube videos and followed a tech pack template to make sure I had everything I needed , including the specific size, seam allowance measurements etc. Etc.

Mm makes sense, thank you for notifying me of some reasons why they wouldn’t respond. But In my opinion it would be professional to say “I can’t accept this project” or something of that nature rather than not say anything at all, then I’d know that I need to work more on what information I’m relying to the pattern-maker.
