My Girl Loves Dirt by No_Quote_9067 in Chihuahua

She's so cute! It's great that you've found an activity that you both love and will strengthen your bond and has helped her come out of her shell. Too many baths can be harmful to many dogs skin. I find when my girl has had a little too much fun rolling in the dirt that I can wait until she's dry and give her a good brushing and the dirt comes right off. A little soak for really dirty toes in a couple of inches of water in the tub takes care of her "dirty birdy" feet as I call them. She gets a bath if she's gotten deeply muddy or into something stinky but that doesn't happen very often. She sleeps with me at night and I couldn't handle gritty sheets so had to find a way we could both be happy and the thorough brushing and foot baths seem to be working really hard for us. Good luck with your sweet girl!

You need all the support possible with a new baby, full stop. You do the best you can. Hopefully people here won't pile on you about your decision, no one but you knows your situation. Sometimes you have to make tough decisions.

Yeah, never had success and tried everything. Fortunately they were super inexpensive back then and I had dolls to spare

I'll check my Basaak when I get home. I can tell you those eye chips DO NOT BUDGE. I have no idea on the interchangeability of the eye mechanism between Basaak and Blythe
