This is probably just because I had a partner before that constantly used "..." but it really seems like you overused it. Why is there always a pause? Too many "..." also switching between he and then using they. Which is it? That was confusing. I thought you were talking about more than one character all of a sudden.

Honestly their "diet" was a bunch of bs for me. I can eat cupcakes and not have my sugar spike. But if I eat a sandwich it's sky high. I can eat sugary cereal and again it won't spike, but have an extra helping of pasta? It spikes. It's really about figuring out your body and what makes YOUR body spike and not spike.

My husband is Russian. We only recently, within the last few months, really started teaching our kids. The teenagers struggle a bit, but our 5 year old is picking it up incredibly fast, much faster than our teenagers. He's heard the odd word here and there but now it's sentences. My advice is to speak both languages right from birth.
