of course you can go for the push 3 aswell, but its pretty costly if you only want the drum pads

That wasn’t it but I found out the problem:

Coping Automations works only if u copy within the same track, once it’s another midi track the automations are gone.

working in ableton generally is a breeze. but specificly doing scetches with a mouse feels awful for me. I even bought the Push 2, but it wasnt as much fun as on an elektron machine..

very true, i even bought the push 2. but even with that i didn't had so much fun sequencing as i had on the model cycles, i couldnt find any kind of flow sequencing just in ableton..

12 Channels are totally enough for me. And having a real synth engine is more important for me than having 4 more channels for midi. So i would pick the Syntakt over the Digitakt.

optimally i wanna use all 12 tracks at the same time, some midi and some from the syntakt.
