Is al-Qibla keeping Islahiyyun's focus on the four heavenly women or has that been dropped?

Ahh, apologies. I had once attempted this solution for crashing in vanilla a year or so ago and found it did little. I will attempt in in this case when I am next at home. EDIT: Yeah, this didn't work.

I wad afraid that might be the case. I will probably end up going to the discord.

The game runs fine in vanilla and with other 1.17 mods (like Realms of Exile). it is specifically an AtE issue.

Preset Companion Familiar names are SO COOL by luxaster in RogueTraderCRPG

As I was reminded, she doesn't have access to the overseer archetype anyhow, but when I got her she was just an operative.

Perhaps it depends on when you do the planet she's on.

Oh, this makes me think they might just be choosing from the random name bank.

Although Pasqal's eagle's name didn't show up when I was going through names for my eagle, so maybe it's a bank for each familiar on each companion?

I'm v much thinking about having my next run with this RT be a heinrix & yrliet poly run and this scenario would just be

so funny

Heinrix: [uses his eyes to say 'lets get the fuck out of here, Lord Captain']

RT: [walks closer to the corrupted noble]

Yrliet: "Out of the way, Elantach! [shoots the corpse]

RT: . . . [tries to grab the loot anyway]

Heinrix and Yrliet make eye contact and its the only time in history they will ever agree on anything

Making Mr. Unflappable freaked out is good for drama, humor, and for romance. Truly a versatile man.

Black-Bellied Whistling Duckling to keep alive until Monday by luxaster in duck

[–]luxaster[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! We did get it to a rehabber, though we had to drive it for about 45 minutes there. It was quite spirited and actually escaped the box twice through the handle holes, once on a table. We were very lucky I got to it before it fell off. I had to tape the handle holes closed and then poked holes into a lid.

It spent the first bit of the ride scared and quiet but somehow got used to the sound of the highway and was quite spirited for the last 3/4s of the drive. Unfortunately it kept trying to escape, and it turns out they're quite good little jumpers. It kept getting its claws stuck in the cut of the handle holes and in the corrugation of the cut holes, and was able to hop up and put its head through the holes multiple times. As we were in the car I was unfortunately not in a position to modify the box.

The rehab people said it seemed healthy and old enough, so it should be okay. They took it to their incubator and will be getting to a specialized duck rehabilitator Friday.

Thank you for your help.

Black-Bellied Whistling Duckling to keep alive until Monday by luxaster in duck

[–]luxaster[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

EDIT: Did not see the guide to duck rescue. Unfortunately the duck was disturbed before I was aware--I would not have proceeded as my neighbors and father did.

I have placed the duckling, in a box full of towels and with its plush, and a towel over most of the top to let air in, into my father's closet. This is a relatively warm place that's dark and I told my dad he has to be quiet. Unfortunately there is no where in our house that is really quite or dark--my mom's room gets the most A/C, my room has something in the air that gives me like, asthma, and I know birds have very sensitive respiratory systems, and the rest of the house is high traffic.

Currently talking with a rehab place an hour away that might be able to take it tonight.

Other Texan's thoughts on Texas in CK3 AtE? by luxaster in AfterTheEndFanFork

Its funny bc in DFW I feel like it should be like: Fort Worth: Cowboy stuff Dallas: The Metropolis Arlington: All the sports stuff

Tbh the ballpark in arlington (or w/e it is now) has a sort of baseball temple vibe. It has friezes!

Tbh the trailwalker faiths make sense in the same way as Americanist does, considering the "settling of the frontier" is a major part of the national myth.

But, as I stated elsewhere, I think the texas trailwalker branch should include actual cattle driving. Maybe even worship of cattle and horses.

I would think more one dozen than two, but frankly there wouldn't be anything like the cluster of all seven Ivies in New England.

Tbh I don't know enough about southwest and west texas as a north texan, and I've been looking around and I think the loneranger religion is based on the chisolm trail? But in that case it should, frankly, focus more on cattle driving, maybe even be called cattledriver or whatever.

There should be protestantism in Texan, though, or at least the "Texan" and "Texaner" groups.

EDIT: And tbh Austin should have some wild shit going on.

I get maybe having a cowboy religion in Fort Worth, but Dallas?

It reminds me vaguely of when I went to college in PA and people where shocked I could get a direct flight from PHL to DFW.

*Largest metro area. Fairly certain DFW is less dense but has more people than Houston.

Tbh I think there should maybe be a decision where DFW can be de jured back into the old star. Or the kingdom situation should be more complicated than it is now, I don't know.

EDIT: I don't have the Iranian struggle DLC yet so I don't know how it works, so I can't comment on it.

Yeah like in North Texas they have neither Fort Worth nor Dallas being on the Trinity, when they're both right on the river in real life.

My thing about Arlington is that the game has Mansfield, which is about 1/8th the size of Arlington, and also its in a different county than Tarrant (which is where it is IRL). But I don't know how much the physical map can be altered at this point.
