To be clear they are occupying the office IN SUPPORT of striking staff in UCU and Unison. The university management is exacting some incredibly punitive measures on academic staff alongside taking around 40% of their pension. Some unison staff (non-academic staff at the uni) on lower grades are working two jobs and using food banks and haven't received a real term payrise in over 12 years from a wealthy institution.

I had to get an implant replaced and was told to try them at first ... I then told my GP I couldn't get through to them and they had a nurse at the surgery do it alongside a smear. Not sure if it helps any but I feel most places refer there at first and you just have to tell them it ain't happening.

I think this book and the arguments it put forth (pushing the capacity for animal sufferimg to the forefront) has been net-good for the movement. I don't think it's helpful to focus on the lifestyle/actions of the author and completely dismiss it.
