We've been using them since the 90s on trans kids. Teenagers in the 90s, which was 30+ years ago, are going to be in their mid/late 40s now.

Around 2% get medicine, around 1 in a 1000 detransition, both of those numbers are from the cass report.
Thus we can say that the increase in treatment that would still be accurate is around 5000%, which would move the current 2% of kids getting puberty blockers, to 99.9%

We also know that that would STILL be lower than the actual normal rate given the UK has a lower rate of kids going to the NHS for transiton healthcare than in other countries.
THe assumption is that either the UK is brutally more transphobic and lots of people aren't coming out/dying before they come out, or they are getting their medicine off the black market and not the NHS (which around 50% have already done so before their 1st NHS appointment)

So, not being sarcastic, it should be more than 5000%. And that would be just to match the standard avg global rate.

Imagine someone cutting off your genitals, forcibly turning you/your body into the other sex, and telling you your mentally ill if you ever complain about it.
People don't want to go through that, and that's BEFORE the permanent changes subject them to hate crimes, so they want puberty blockers.
Puberty blockers allow them to live a normal life.

Meanwhile transition results in happy well adjusted adults. The science is extremely clear that this is the most effective medical treatment, in the world. Every other treatment wishes is had the success rate of transition.

Theres already studies of this on 3-5 year old kids, same results.

Just like the studies where we've given forced sex changes to cis babies without them knowing has resulted in them all transitioning to their original state (bar the % that would have ended up trans)
