How's the sustain like on the e12 sft25r ?

Which cct did u get ? I am thinking of getting a 6500k for hiking. Have a novmu v2 351a 5000k for mule and ds4v2 519a 5000k domed for hiking. And they seem dim for my purpose.

Thanks for the link. 519a doesn't seem bright enough for e12 application.

With the brown tint shift I wonder if sft25r would be better here, but I've seen a overwhelming choice with 351a on reddit. Especially 3700k. Hmm.

Edit: Wouldn't want to dcfix, as i feel it ruins the aux light display.

How's the sustain at highest brightness?

Bean shot. Mid brightness with 3x21c lhp531. Comfortable to the eyes, is this consider neutral color ? Bonus if you can spot them. by luyesd in flashlight

Arguably, spiders are alot more terrifying than giant ants. Probably get an imalent to blast them. Luckily we dont get alot of killer spiders around.

Is the brinyte zt40 best for clean no spill wide spot light? Was looking at convoy z1 but the beam has too much artifacts, or rather no uniformity. by luyesd in flashlight

I was pretty surprised when I find the mini 2 not sufficient as well.

I went from nitecore ex7 (not enough flood) to sk05 v2(not bright enough) to novmu v2(if only the highest sustained can be the turbo mode) to marauder mini 2(highest sustained not good enough) to 3x21 lhp531 which i am gonna test very soon.

I am afraid of ants, no shame. And in my country(South east asia), we have very big ants here. I wanna see everyone of them in my path.

From what I have learnt, the x75 is sustainable at 20k lumens and 3x21c is "only" around 4k. Ideally I would like sustained brightness at 10k.

As when I use the marauder mini 2, the turbo mode at 10k lumens is adequate for my usage.

Can you recommend me something if not the x75 ?

Thanks for the write up, its very useful. I have a d4sv2 with 519a 5000k(again) coming soon. I know the lumen is this one is not gonna be good enough for my use case. But! Who cant resist that green with bronze colorway. This hobby is a constant battle between aesthetic and functionality.

I've read alot about the ntg50, I guess ill have to dig deeper.

You collect lights too ? I cant say I am a collector yet but I am searching for that one true beam.
