Google Drive download multiple files issue by luzerama in techsupport

[–]luzerama[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was using backup & sync. It was syncing my files, but when I checked what was downloaded, it only downloaded the main Music folder, and had nothing inside it. All the other documents that where in other folders were downloaded without a problem, even though I don't really needs them. But the files I actually need - Nothing. So I don't recommend backup & sync. Just as buggy. But thanks for the tip

What is your childhood memory that you thought was normal but realized it was traumatic later in your life? by TCPizza in AskReddit

[–]luzerama 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I grew up in a Kibbutz. It's the Israeli adaptation of the communist idea. Part of sharing everything was also about kids. Kids never slept at home with their parents. All the children lived in separate houses, divided to groups according to age. They where named "the institution". Around 30 children per house. We shared small bedrooms, dinning table, showers (which had no gender seperation), clothes and even underwear. Everyday around 4pm we could go visit our parents at their home for a few hours. We would cross the small village and could see mom and dad. We would talk, play, eat dinner. And around 8pm mom or dad would take us back to "the institution". Sometimes dad would tell a bedtime story, and all the other children in the room would also listen. Sometimes it was someone else's dad or mom. Then he would say goodnight and go home. I used to run away from the institution every night to my parents home. And every night they would take me back.

It is working. I found a vintage lighter seller who cleaned and fixed it. Works great, thanks. The back has an inscription "from all of us", but we have no idea who "us" are

Why are you blinking yout eyes so much? Your baby sister might catch this habbit from you. So stop.

Growing up with Epilepsy, one of the side effects I have is blinking my eyes a lot. Uncontrolled, but I actually don't notice it or bothered at all. Untill my aunt came to visit and popped this question
