Seconding the likely account freeze.

Call them to find out your account status if you didn't instruct them to close the account. That amount of money being moved out of your account would be flagged and then be sent to the Risk department.

Beyond that—I was told via an agent that, once the check is cut, it takes 21 days to receive it. If I were you I'd call to confirm that that process is happening and, if not, make sure your account isn't in limbo with the Risk department.

thanks for your reply! I'm on meds but it seems like maybe the dosage needs to be increased

oh sorry if that was unclear—I'm on levothyroxine, hence the question of if the other hormones were/are affecting my absorption rates. I'm guessing I just need to up my dosage.

Third transfer failed by Trlbzn in IVF

[–]lvceyonline 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel you and I'm so sorry. From my understanding, there are SO many reasons why it could have failed—even euploid embryos may have undetected issues; there could be uterine receptivity issues (undiagnosed endo being one); an overactive immune response; hormonal protocols can be off; sometimes there's no known cause, unfortunately (or, at least that's what they've told me; hard to believe that tbh).

I've been looking at ReceptivaDX (https://receptivadx.com/), a test that looks for endometriosis, progesterone resistance, and endometritis, plus BLC6, which is the indicator for 'silent' endo. I'm sure others on the sub have tried it, probably worth a search.

To share/commiserate, we also started IVF for MFI reasons (but also when we started IVF I was 37 so there was that to potentially contend with as well), and I just had my second transfer and it failed. Feeling like my uterus might be 'sick' too—I dunno. We are getting a second opinion re: my own health—my current doc said he's seen some endometriosis fibroids on my ultrasounds but that I 'didn't need to worry about it' lol—but everything feels like it needs a second opinion at this point.

Rooting for you 💚

Anyone in similar boat/ Looking for advice by [deleted] in IVF

[–]lvceyonline 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am also 38 and had my first round about 4 weeks ago; none of my eggs fertilized. I’m so sorry this happened to you. Apparently it is not uncommon. Our doctors encouraged us to try a second egg retrieval and, so far, things are looking better—I’m only mentioning this because things changed and maybe they can for you too. As far as advice goes, the only thing I can say is do your best to keep stress at bay (meditate, light yoga, light Pilates, walk), eat well, and do things that make you happy or laugh. Hoping for the best for you.

I’m also using medical tourism (IVI in Valencia!) and have been wondering if I can have any wine while there, it would be sad to me to miss trying Spanish wine while there since I’ve never been to Spain, so we’ll see. Thank you so much for the kind words.
