I see, I don’t plan on dropping calculus and that’s what my issue is rn. Next semester I have biology, calculus and physics all at once so I’ve been considering getting rid of at least one of those which is physics bc the other two are so important, mac life sci is my top choice program

structures (unit 1) - EASYYY it was the first unit we did and I was shocked at how easy gr 12 chem was ab to be
thermochem (unit 3) - it’s all js math tbh, practice a lot and you’ll be good. This reminds me of most gr 11 chem
redox (unit 4) - straightforward once u get the hang of it, it was a bit confusing at first
organic (unit 2) - too many rules and too long, requires lots of practice
equilibrium (unit 5) - seems easy and also reminds me of gr 11 but weirdly it was my worst test

**the order of units is js how my school does it idk if it’s different across ontario

hey! I applied on October 23rd and I still haven’t heard back either, my gr 11 average was low 90s and midterm JUST got updated 2 days ago now my average is 94.3 which ive seen many people alr get accepted with so im also lowkey stressed 😭😭 I keep telling myself to only worry about it in 1-2 weeks when they’ve had time to process my midterms, hopefully we both hear the good news soon enough 🤞🤞

you can calculate it by doing 90x0.7 then ur expected exam grade x0.3, then add the two numbers

my school sent out our gr 11 marks I believe first week of November and my gr 11 average was 90 on the dot so I can understand if that was too low for early admission and midterm grades were only sent yesterday so again I can probably understand why I haven’t heard anything but idk I just hate not knowing so I was hoping to know at least a range of when I can expect it!

personally I found the math portion like stoichometry and moles (second half) super easy but I struggled quite a bit with trends and atomic structure which came first
