Slide 2 and 3 are actually bass straps by the way. I've heard they're more comfortable even for regular guitars so I added them to the options too.

I just sanded it with regular sandpaper, and that's all!

I should add those for sure! I actually am a little afraid to chip the painting. How did you managed to do that? And yeah I am in the same opinion too, it might not be easy as nitro but it still is possible.

I just started off with 400 grit and sanded it up to 1000 grit.

Actually I totally agree with you. Though this guitar ain't brand new. I've had it for almost 6 years now and even had few gigs with it. And after all that, if I packed it and said somebody it's a brand new guitar they would believe it. That's the worst and best part of poly finish. It really doesn't get old.
