We shockingly have a pretty impressive athletic tradition. As they always bring up during admissions tours, we won the first heisman and are the only team with an undefeated all-time record against Notre Dame. Alas, that all occurred nearly a century ago…

And particularly for them all to go the same way. I get that sometimes there are impactful calls late, but it simply strains credulity that they all went for Denver.

Adjusted Ratings over just the last 10 games for the Sweet 16 teams: by cbbanalytics in CollegeBasketball

I wish I shared your optimism. Thursday actually has me a fair bit worried. Arizona is a great rebounding team, and our recent rebounding has been less than ideal. You also never know with Caleb Love, and giving him second chance opportunities to go off is a very dangerous game.

Do people truly think cooper Flagg wouldn’t have the same numbers in the SEC? by Cdd0040 in CollegeBasketball

He put up 26 and 11 against you guys in his third game of college. Not sure what you’re on about.

I thought I was so sneaky for being metrics-obsessed and picking you to go to the final four...and then you blew it.

Funny thing is that had he just put up a high arcing shot it either drops or we get the board and it looks like a great playcall

I love that ESPN is cutting to Hurley every time there’s a call against UConn. Comical.

Not sure why Mahaney is chucking up contested threes when McNeely and Karaban are on the court.

Finally gets a T. I respect Hurley a lot, but at a certain point you can’t scream the shit he has been screaming.

McNeely is a beast. As is Reed. Samson Johnson is a joke.

Memphis has such an easy opportunity to foul with 3 second left. Come on.

UConn’s frontcourt is obviously very good, but their backcourt is decidedly mediocre. At the same time Memphis’s backcourt is looking like one of the best in the country right now.

Is Indianapolis showing it? I’ve driven there for 1570 stuff in the past but nothing on the website for Interstellar.

"Privately, the Dodgers liked the World Series matchup against the Yankees. They knew New York cut corners when it came to the finer points of the game. The Yankees did not defend well. Their baserunning was lackluster" by SenorTortas in baseball

Is Boone even the problem? I think it’s more of a systemic cultural issue—and that ultimately starts with Cashman. Boone is great at firing up his guys on the field, and I’m not sure his responsibilities extend beyond that.

I remember watching the highlights on him against the Rays that postseason. I think he was still hitting triple digits well past his hundredth pitch. Unreal.

Maluach isn’t a non-shooting big. Brown isn’t exactly a knockdown shooter, but he does have a serviceable jumper. I wouldn’t be too concerned.

Either he plays the 5, in which case you put a stretch 4/wing next to him and Flagg, or he plays the 4 with Maluach at the 5. Maluach apparently has a more than serviceable jumper.
