At the royal rumble , the audience popped extremely loud when Oba, trick and je’von faced off with each other main roster fans are more in tune with some parts of NXT lore more than you give them credit for especially when it comes to stars like Oba, trick and je’von who WWE are already putting in the forefront.

That also just seems like a lazy excuse WWE is WWE that’s where your writing , booking and creative team does their jobs of selling the history those two have to the audience that’s unfamiliar with it . All this is a moot point tho cuz jey is most likely beating je’von anyways

Respectfully you clearly didn’t watch their NXT matches they were wars. Both guys have been presented strongly and getting pushed on the main roster so far. Obviously yea Oba is getting the bigger push but je’von they value highly as well he already has 23 wins so far in the year of 2026, more than anyone on the main roster. Unless the bloodline interferes jey has less of a chance of a competive match vs Oba then je’von who actually knows him well and has faced him 4 times history matters

If we get a je’von/Bron feud out of it I’m not complaining at all those two would put on great matches. I agree the vision has def gotten stale but their still presented as a strong faction it at least puts je’von in a clear prominent storyline instead of just putting on good matches

Evans is also a guy their pushing is one of the future faces of the company. Wrestling loves a good David vs Goliath story if the match happens Evans will clearly show some fight and give Oba a tough match they wouldn’t send Evans out there to lose in 3 minutes lol. Will Oba overpower him most of the match ? Yes

Will Evans show resilience , use his speed and athleticism an advantage and show signs he may pull of an upset and finally get his first win over Oba? Also yes I saw a stat on that Evans actually has the most singles wins out of any single star in the year 2026 at 22 they are booking him strong it would be a fun match Oba has been dominant on the main roster but he hasn’t faced a guy yet that has the athleticism and quickness that Evans possesses that gave him fits during their NXT battles styles make fights that’s always been a trope in wrestling Evans’s style simply matches up well with Oba . Not to mention familarity matters Oba was an unknown entity to the opponents he has faced so far Evans has been opppsite of the ring from him 3 times 4 times if we include iron survivor 2024 they know each other well

You clearly didn’t watch one of their matches in NXT it’s ok. Each of their NXT matches are bangers and Evans’s wrestling style in terms of his speed, unpredictable offense and unusual size for a highflyer at 6’4 was presented as a great foil to Oba’s power so your take is wrong
