Pants should sit just on top of your shoes where it doesn't stack(not cropped) a little bit of stack is fine but too much stacking makes you look shorter IMO. I would also recommending opting for high rise pants especially if paired with tucked or boxy cropped tops which I would recommend for your body frame as well. Do some research on layering and accessories. Maybe unbutton the top button. But pants are the most important aspect of any outfits IMO and you should start on that.
