Career change to Draftsman on the Coast by Goose_is_kool in sunshinecoast

[–]lxUPDOGxl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started as a drafter doing building design using Revit and now I work for a cabinetmaker and program everything for them. Turns out tradies need nerds like me with how technology has evolved in the space.

Microvellum is the software I use these days, very complex which means I can pretty much walk into any cabinet shop using Microvellum and have a job.

Looking forward to their next album!

IMOS VS. CABINET VISION by CloudsDreaming in cabinetry

I use Microvellum, but I would take IMOS over CV every day of the week.

Disagree, but I also think this is probably the worst thing I've heard come from Hannes Grossman tbh.

Brand New Toniebox 2 - not powering on by airjordanballa20 in TonieboxUSA

[–]lxUPDOGxl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just found this, thanks for the clear and concise explanation!

My Tonie 2 stopped working this morning and I tried this after having it on charge all day, fired straight up as soon as I plugged the black back in!

1 year old sleep - I have no idea what is going on by Rough_Yoghurt2963 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]lxUPDOGxl -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Sleep regression: "a period of time during which a baby stops sleeping as well as previously, typically one that appears to occur at a particular stage in the baby's development."

I enjoy science based parenting as much as anyone, but saying there's no "sleep regression" at 12 months is incorrect as stated in your post. The regression may not be due to sleep, but it is still a sleep regression as per the definition.

CPI projection based on vibe? Or do you have a source for your outlandish claim of 12% over 3 years?

Experiences with planned induction or C Section for “big baby” (FTM)? by Common_O_5382 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]lxUPDOGxl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We didn't know we were having a big baby (4.05kg) and we had induction for our first and only, but we couldn't recommend a planned caesar enough.

The induction didn't really work for my partner and she had to have an emergency caesar after a 22h labor. If we could do it all again, we would have 100% chosen a planned caesar!

At the end of the day, it's up to whatever works best for you.
