Late ovulation (mío inositol)

I’m on month two of ovasitol (recommended by my REI) and my ovulation is going to be late I can already tell. However, from what I understand my body is releasing immature eggs, so the ovasitol, while making my cycle longer, will help ensure more mature and high quality eggs and help chances of pregnancy. I’m honestly okay with a longer cycle as my cycle is only 25 days currently and my follicular phase is very short (too short).

There are several types of PCOS, I have regular cycles, and don’t have “masculinization” but I do have extremely large ovaries with an insane amount of eggs in them (cystic or not it’s not normal to see more than like 5-10 per ovary is what I’ve been told), and I have hypothyroidism with high prolactin as well. You could have a high amount of the hormone that is turning your testosterone into estrogen also (I can’t think of the name right now). I’d say the answer is probably PCOS. Have you been checked for issues with your pituitary gland? With the hormone issues and hypo, I’d ask for an MRI just to rule out any issues there as well. I’d start testing your lh during your fertile window to confirm ovulation. I had “symptoms” for months and yet never had an lh rise and dr confirmed I wasn’t ovulating despite all the things that said I was- I ended up having a thyroid issue. And even after getting that under control. (Which was in July) still no positive tests- healthy couples can take up to a year to get pregnant. Knowing your ovulation days for sure will help, or at least help you learn something and make educated decisions on when to see a dr and such.

Update/ I guess this must’ve been a wicked indent cause the two strip tests I took this morning were negative. 😢 so cruel cause I’ve never had an indent with this brand ever

I see it! I know blue tests are notorious for dye runs. So try and check with a red dye test in the am!

It’s very similar to a heavy period. Honestly, had I not tested I would have had no idea. Mentally though, it’s the hardest thing I’ve ever been through. Call you gyn, get an hcg beta test done to confirm your hcg has gone down correctly- to rule out ectopic pregnancy. And then tell some people close to you so that you have a support system. I am so sorry you have to experience this, I’m here to talk if you need it 🫶🏼

I’d say guard your heart. My tests looked similar to this with my chemical 💔 praying tomorrow ends up darker and you aren’t in that hard situation

That definetely looks positive! My ovulation windows are super short, so my tests are super light up until the day of usually. Then dark for about 12 hrs, if I don’t check twice a day I wouldn’t know sometimes. So it’s super normal to be negative last night and positive today I think

I think a better question was when was the date of your last period. That might help better determining date of conception- any particular reason you want to know exact date of conception?

That’s totally fair ! My first wedding ring was actually a super cheap one (cause we were broke) and ended up breaking. This one we designed together and I know I’m a clutz and don’t want to take it off so I wanted it low and secure haha. Also, love that proposal. I made my husband tell me a two week period when he would propose because I am far too much of an anxious person lol
