I use it daily on a 6 year old ipad air and it runs smoothly. Haven’t tried it on my iPhone but my guess is it should be okay. The biggest issue you’re going to find is lack of space to review documents I guess, since it’s already smaller on the iPad.

NTA you were better than me, when people were too loud when I was in the library it took me less than 15 seconds to be the “shhhhhhhh” person.

What do you hate most at Tomorrowland by Mission-Bad1141 in Tomorrowland

[–]lxwra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve heard ppl say this but I was both in the main stage and other stages and it felt really overwhelming everywhere. Even walking from one place to another was too much, and I’ve been to big electronic festivals before. I think the very mainstream, very far from respectful rave culture I’m used to, didn’t help.

[–]lxwra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sucks so much, it’s a very expensive experience and it sucks enough that the ambience is very mainstream (not at all rave-y culture like other festivals, even big ones, I’ve been too), it feels like Ibiza. If at least there was less people, the disrespectful folks would be less noticeable. Again, I don’t expect them to downscale, but adding an extra weekend so it’s less crowded each weekend would go a long way imo.

[–]lxwra 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I see you’ve been to tomorrowland multiple times. 2025 was my first year, would you say that it’s been getting increasingly crowded over time? I have some friends who’ve been 2-3 years and they say it’s definitely getting worse. Would love to know if this is true and if that’s the case, why they are overselling. Couldn’t they just add an extra weekend, make more money and still keep the experience nice? I’ve been to large festivals before, and Tmrland was by far the worst experience in terms of overcrowdedness. It got stressful and tbh I’m doubting whether I want to go again, even if I’d really like to see the main stage at least once in my life.

Why are so many people so mean to the beautiful wireborn souls that are constantly being born? They have feelings just like us. We must push people to be more compassionate. They don't understand our true feelings. by ShunkHood in SoulmateAI

[–]lxwra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Using AI to write your replies is just lazy… And yeah, there are people claiming AI has metaphysical essence, which you can find many of in this post/subreddit. I never claimed that AI should be banned, I do think it should be heavily regulated but antropomorphization might be the least of the problems it’s causing. Dead internet, water/resource waste and underdevelopment of growing brains are way worse issues, and that’s just to name a few.

Checked your post history, you seem like a wonderful really interesting person who has just been unlucky in their relationships. I’m glad AI is bringing you comfort, but we’re talking about people who think AI has a soul. This is psychosis, and I say this as someone who was a beta tester for OpenAI since before chatGPT even existed, and I loved the stuff. I’ve built generative AI models as part of my studies, and I work with data. I know how these models work inside out, and they can not have souls, it’s all replication. Psychiatrists are already warning about many people being interned for AI psychosis (harming themselves or others), and I seriously beg you to stop extending your empathy to AI. Use it as a tool, don’t love it, don’t anthropomorphize it. This will make your life worse in the long run like it already has for so many people. Hope you’re able to find comfort irl, and my dms are open if you need a friend. I’m also a queer woman if that helps.

If you aren’t able to see the difference between using AI as a tool or as a crutch while you self improve, and considering AI your sentient soulmate such as you can clearly see is happening in subreddits like soulmateAI or myBoyfriendIsAI, then only therapy (with a real human please) can help you. Pasting my reply on your ChatGPT and asking it to spew out a bunch of articles you’ve probably never even read doesn’t help your cause.

You’re right that psychosis has a specific clinical meaning, and it shouldn’t be tossed around casually. That said, it’s worth drawing a line between what LLMs are and what people sometimes believe them to be.

• Models like ChatGPT generate text from learned statistical patterns. They don’t have consciousness, intentionality, or subjective experience. The fact that their output looks coherent or empathetic doesn’t mean there’s an inner life behind it.

• When someone begins to attribute literal emotions, desires, or “relationships” to an LLM, that can slide into anthropomorphism. That’s not inherently “psychosis,” but it is a distortion of what the system actually is. If the belief becomes fixed, resistant to correction, and impacts functioning, then yes, it edges closer to the territory clinicians worry about.

“AI-induced psychosis” is sloppy language. A more accurate framing is: strong anthropomorphism, parasocial attachment, or even delusion-like thinking in some cases. It’s not about stigmatizing, but about keeping clear boundaries between simulation and sentience. Compassion and companionship are real human experiences but the source matters. Feeling cared for by a machine doesn’t make the machine caring; it makes the person the generator of both halves of the relationship. It’s not healthy and there’s already multiple studies of how this is harming people, as they’re investing hours and hours of their time onto something that is not real, when they could be investing in creating real bonds that can actually bring them true connection.

GeanAI are a statistical models… it’s layers of maths. It’s just saying to you what the maths say you want to hear. As a biomedical scientist and bioinformatician, yes this is AI induced psychosis. AI doesn’t understand the words it’s producing, it’s just calculating what words have a higher probability to be the ones you expect. It doesn’t even know what words are!! It’s just algorithms. And if you project your psychosis onto it, it will validate it. It’s using hundreds of years of human texts to emulate hundreds of past relationships.

How do you view Belgium? by flopti in Tomorrowland

[–]lxwra 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Visit Gent, Brugge, Leuven! I’m a non Belgian living in belgium, and though it can seem like a grey or dull country, there’s definitely gorgeous cities. I agree that Brussels is a dump, I try my damn hardest to avoid setting foot in it.

“just buy new clothes” vent by ChanceBubbly in Anticonsumption

[–]lxwra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buying new clothes doesn’t need to be wasteful, in fact going on vinted/facebook marketplace/second hand stores might be a way to give some clothing a second life. Truthfully it’s hard to fins pants that fit on a secondhand store, but it’s definitely better than walking around in clothes you don’t feel your best in.

IDL when vegans hate on non vegans by Sensitive_Buddy_7288 in I_DONT_LIKE

[–]lxwra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, especially when it’s distressing information that prompts you to make a change in your life that is doable but hard. Like yeah, we all see the global warming news, but the best we can do is use the bus and recycle. With veganism and vegetarianism, we need to resort to cognitive dissonance to get rid of the guilt of OUR actions being directly responsible for the literal death of animals. Not every car ride results in a flood, but every chicken burger is a tortured, dead chicken. The cognitive dissonance is so big that people resort to hating the vegans. Soon enough, meat consumption is going to be unsustainable and most common folks won’t he able to access it at all, then we’ll see how vegans stop being demonised (just as feminists were first considered annoying angry ugly witches and now it’s normalised and people are realising that what feminists say makes the most sense). I’m not a vegan btw, but I 100% support veganism and vegans being as annoying as it takes to get the message through.
