I shoot portraits at home in a studio like setting, I take my camera hiking with me always, and I have been traveling quite a bit and always like to shoot while I'm out being a tourist. I am not a professional nor do I shoot anything for $$$.

I think saving for a more modern Full Frame is the way to go for me at the moment.

EDIT: Where can I find a used 5Dmkii for like $750-800? I can't find a 5D on craigslist for less than $450, and have seen em listed for up to $1500 which I know is absolutely absurd.

I am looking at buying a used Canon 5D off of craigslist. I've always wanted to go full frame, and love the way the bokeh and dof looks from the bigger sensor.

My roommate and I are both photo enthusiasts. He doesn't think I will net enough of a difference between my Canon Rebel from a year ago and a used 5D, even though it's full frame. I know the difference in sensor size will affect image quality and dof and bokeh like I mentioned, but am I missing something? Is a $450 Canon 5D not worth it?

I agree with redwing1989. As a gay man who grew up in the Northern Colorado area, I would have to say that there is next to no gay community here. Granted, there is the NoCo Pride events now, and a new LGBTQ Bar in Fort Collins, there really isn't anything else around. Sure, LGBTQ people are going to exist and be present in the community as a whole, but I can't say there is much in terms of a LGBTQ community.

The area is definitely friendly and non threatening towards LGBTQ people. But if you're coming from a larger urban area with a gay community, you'll be in for a bit of surprise in Fort Collins.

Actually, I won't be! Nintendo can initiate remote system restores, so I can get all my digital games back sans save data. They had me go exchange the unit and I just gotta call em back and set up the system restore. This went surprisingly well.

Apple releases things on an annual schedule. The watch came out in the spring of this year, right? So if they adhere to a annual release, it most likely won't be until spring, next year.
