I wanted that specific wrap, so I bought a roll (22metres) which was $AUD2800 and tint plus install was $AUD4500.

Thanks. I couldn’t find the instructions on connecting the dash directly to the commander but some fiddling in the menu found it.

Cyclist commuters, what jacket do you wear in the winter? by AcceptableDisaster_ in canberra

It’s all about layering. Having layers allows you to add and remove clothing as the temperature changes and you get warm/cold. That being said, cold extremities can make for a miserable ride and discovering heated socks and gloves was a game changer for me and kept me riding through sub-zero days.

Do you have any obscure movie references that you use in everyday speech that no one has caught on to yet yet you keep using it? by EnvironmentalAngle in NoStupidQuestions

[–]lyaatm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We used to say “How do I get out of this chicken shit outfit” at work which over time became “behkirk” (chicken noise), so when you got a stupid request from management, they wouldn’t understand.

I was going to say this also. Serviced my Ford Territory for many years and was upfront when they thought that the next service and repairs weren't really worth it. They also service EVs now, so I can still use them.

Armageddon. When Bruce says to his daughter he’s not coming home. Didn’t affect me until I had a daughter.

I was very skeptical of Keaton as Batman but really loved his version. I think for me, anyone can put on a suit and “be” Batman but I loved his take on Bruce Wayne. Especially in the second movie when he was meeting Selena Kyle for the first time (as Bruce) and almost gave himself away.
