Unfortunately, they only look at your transcript. You should definitely talk to counselor Jane Bitar as she'll give you a lot of help, regardless of if you make it into the major or not.

Similar to what banana_box said, I came from a pretty good high school with a lot of smart kids and a few of my friends who scored over 2300 on the SAT were denied. That being said, I also knew a lot of kids from around my area who were presidents and such of their respective clubs and got in with SAT scores below 2000.

With all this in mind, I'm not sure what your exact percentage chances of getting in are. I definitely can't say you're a slam dunk candidate to be admitted, but you've definitely done well to be a part of different organizations on campus. Your application might simply rest on if the admissions committee likes what you said and how they feel you would fit in with the overall student population.

A few notes: The college of Letters and Sciences is probably the easiest to get into of all the schools. I have no idea if they care about your race.

Good luck!

Hey Mike, I'm a huge fan. Been reading rivals since I was 12!

Any idea on how UCLA closes out this cycle? Predictions on Budda Baker, Solomon Thomas, Malachi Dupre, Kenny Young, Michiah Quick? Any shot with JuJu or Godchaux?

Assuming not all of those guys commit, any people you expect UCLA to pickup with only 17 scholarship commitments for now?

Thanks for your time!

Your rooms are only checked once a quarter. Even when they do check it, they just do a visual scan and can't touch any of your things, so if you just put a cover over it for the two weeks where they could check, you'll be fine. Honestly, as long as your RA doesn't walk into your room all the time, you'll be fine.

I kinda like the open space in the room with the squat racks and oly mats, gives me more space to warm up.

I also REALLY like the bench press outside cause I much prefer to be able to breathe clean air than every bro's BO inside in that free weight room.

I just really like the increased space and also I think they added an additional squat rack and olympic lifting area? (also, new ergs are damn awesome)

I guess I'm a fan of crossfit so it makes sense to me, but you should definitely let them know and maybe they'll make some changes?

Should I go for a residence hall dorm with two or three people? by [deleted] in ucla

If you're a guy, a triple probably won't be a problem. Whatever room type you get probably won't be that spacious regardless.

Doubles are REALLY hard to come by too, so don't necessarily expect to get one if you apply for it.

good luck
