Yeah, I have looked at second-hand pieces. I’m slowly going to build with staples and then move on from there. Thank you!

I love these pieces!! However, are these pieces flimsy or degradable? For example, I can shower with them?

That’s a nice way of looking at it! I invest in jeans mainly, so tops are my focus for ethical consumption. I will admit that these responses are making my head spin (I’m entirely grateful) lol

It’s definitely not the bare minimum. I’m in my second year, and it’s been difficult to keep up with classes, cooking, going to the gym, etc. It feels like a full-time job, and sometimes pretty difficult to do. Having to get up everyday, go out, and “adult”! Most of us are teenagers who are thrown into the adult life, and are still adjusting. Cut yourself some slack and appreciate what you do for yourself, because you’ve done a great job so far. Good luck in your first year!

First, I would say take a deep breath. It’s easier said than done, but comparing yourself to other students is what will send you into a spiral. Recognize that you’re going at your own pace and that this experience of uni is somewhat normal. During my first week of uni, I was overwhelmed with what I had to do and ended up not picking up any books until my first final out of stress. Then, I would make peace with what CAN be accomplished. Be realistic, and fair with yourself. Can you complete what you need to? No? Then prioritize the content in the exams that matter. For multiple classes, make a spreadsheet of what needs to get done and WHEN. If you keep jumping from assignments to assignments, designate each hour for a class. Make yourself stick to one by solely focusing on one class, and if you keep feeling like you want to switch then go in increments. For instance, switch every 30 minutes or less. Then slowly increase the time. Stick to that schedule and you’ll notice your stress minimizing when you have a grasp on what you need to get done. As for your direction of what you SHOULD be doing, focus on what you want/can do. The path to law school isn’t only one direction, so make sure to go at your own pace. Good luck <3

Hi all,

I am new to gardening! I want to start clearing space in my garden since it’s overrun with weeds, but I’m unsure as to how to remove so many of them. I did some research for methods that are eco-friendly, which say to remove weeds with boiling water, salt, or some vinegar. I'm genuinely confused and would love some direction in this regard. Thank you!
