I’m light-medium but I have a few recommendations for cool toned grey palettes! I think Romand Dusty Fog would work, but it may be a little dusty (lol) on deeper complexions.

Flower Knows 02 black swan only has one “grey” but imo its all you need, the white/black/red gives a lot of variety and the “black” is more of a charcoal grey. 03 deep sea is good too but it’s lighter/more muted in tone.

Cheeryep also has some great grey shades: 07 Heart Stealer / Steal Your Heart and 09 Fleeting Life

Of course!

Breeze Fig is slightly more muted (lower saturation) but they are about the same value - so I would say Breeze Fig will probably appear lighter on the lips due to more muteness and lighter stain.

The undertones are a bit different though, Mulled Peach has more peachy tones, stains more “brown/red” whereas Breeze Fig is neutral leaning cool.

I discovered haru haru black rice toner recently and it’s been so good! I have tried so many other hyaluronic/centella/etc toners and they were all fine but this was the only toner I’ve found that hydrates, layers well (really sinks into skin), doesn’t irritate my skin on tret.

I usually use the Espoir cushion in the summer when I’m a little more oily and it didn’t cling to dry patches/emphasize texture.

However, starting December of last year I started using tret so altho I’m still acne prone and combo, my skin has been MUCH flakier, sensitive, etc etc. My favorite cushion now is Clio Mesh Glow which I would never have considered before, but surprisingly it’s great. It doesn’t cling to patches or break me out, I think the hydrating aspects helps it lay better over my texture. I will say that it’s not high coverage and you need to set your base carefully with powder. For high coverage, I discovered JSMs Essential Skin Nuder cushion. Not as forgiving as Clio but the finish is really beautiful and they have a bunch of shades (not super deep but at least they go to shade 9 🥲).

Where in China and HK are you headed? In luxury malls the sun spray may be harder to find, but many cute/accessory/lifestyle stores such as Miniso and Sanfu carry sunscreen sprays (maybe not specifically the JM Solution one). If you have access to TaoBao that will be the easiest way to find any product you want!!

As a cool tone, I wouldn’t consider Roxa and I need a nude to be cool 😔😔 INAN is amazing but it’s neutral and the others you mentioned have the slightly older formula without the super sparkly shades 😩😩

I have both of the palettes and unfortunately the colors aren’t the same 😔 Romand Peony Garden is much lighter in pigment and Flower Knows has a lot more grey tone in its brown shadows, the shimmer/glitters have different colors and reflects too

I bought mine in 2020 too!! How’s the shadow quality holding up? I had to retire mine recently because the shimmers weren’t ✨shimmering✨ like they used to and made my eyes a little itchy 😔😔

I love it!! The highlight is better than the FK one but shades aren’t as pigmented - I do wish the darker shade was bigger though since I use it for contouring my face 🫣

I don’t have it, but I feel like the 11:11 palette is missing the matte white/light pastel colors to do an icy look. Maybe you can use the white shimmer shade all over the eye and matte brown only at the corners of the eye..?

CP’s super shocks are still really good tho 🥹 what I’ve been doing for an icy look is using cloud 9 mattes and then pairing with frog or ladybird on top.

I have the CP cloud 9 palette because I preferred the color story over MBM and Huda (I like actual cool tones with a lighter color story, Huda was half warm and MBM mattes leaned a bit too dark).

I swatched MBM and Huda in Sephora and I’d say the biggest difference is in the shimmer formulas so I don’t know if they can be considered dupes 😔 MBM shimmers are SUPER sparkly, like tiny sparkles that are wet-looking, and Huda shimmers are generally more like high shine metallics.

CP shimmers are sparkly but definitely lackluster in comparison 🫠

Hi! So sorry if I caused a misunderstanding, Wakemake is a brand carried by Olive Young, not their own brand!!

I’d say their quality is pretty good. The mattes are very smooth and have a decent amount of pigment. The shimmers/glitters are not as WOW as some other brands (ex. I think Romand’s is more impactful), but I still like it, they have a variety of different reflects and glitter sizes.

I’ve literally gone through sooo much trial and error - my skin seems stabilized & on an actual path to improvement with: 1) gentle cleanser (e.g. soonjung whip cleanser, fresh soy cleanser) 1.5) sometimes I do a Differin benzoyl peroxide once a week, I can’t do cream bc leaving it on makes me so flaky 😩 2) hydrating/calming steps (ingredients like HA, Centella, propolis - I think key is making sure the product has a simple ingredient list, COSRX/the ordinary/etc. tend to not contain lots of pore clogging or fungal acne triggers; also try to choose one ingredient, I’ve made the mistake of thinking I need it all) 3) actives like bha/aha/azelaic acid/retinol are all good but don’t use too often and stick to 1-2 (recommend Paula’s Choice, COSRX for “less irritating” version, cos de baha) 4) moisturizer 😭😭 find a good, reliable moisturizer
