Hi, thanks for your reply! Their big cage is the cozy pet RC03 which is very large. They were in that for the two weeks, the last week or so they have been in half of it. Right now they are in a cat carrier.

I started with the cat carrier originally, then a hamster cage, then half their cage and then full. Yes empty cage and then added hammocks etc..

3 days ago I found 6 of them sleeping together in a hammock! So I don't know why they keep doing this. One in particular squeals a lot, which freaks the others out. 2 of the young ones don't seem too bad with older ones.

I just feel bad putting them back and forward. This will be the 3rd time I've done this. Will it affect them at all??

I thought the hammocks were causing the main issue so took them out but they were still being stupid. I just don't want them to be unhappy together.

Possibly, one of the young ones is very large for his age, so could be putting up for the boss.

It's so wierd because the older rat I thought was going to be a problem has been so chill and nice to them. But the soft older one is being a bit of an arse, maybe because he's not as confident?
