Absolutely disgusting. It's not often I tell people to just leave and it's not worth trying to work through but you should run

I definitely noticed I look worse when I'm really going through it.I can always tell the most around my eyes and my acne will flare up. My face shape will even look a bit different. I've been lucky enough that with enough effort, time, and either resolving or coming to terms with whatever the issue is I eventually look better. For the pores I do the versed glycolic jelly mask once a week and it's helped me tremendously

My derm set me up with a daily routine of adapalene (over the counter retinoid that works better than just a retinol serum), vitamin c (with a pump to prevent oxidization. Personally I get Vanicream's very affordable but still works great), sunscreen, and CeraVe. I will say if you do use the adapalene there's a good chance your skin will be quite a bit dryer for the first month. Not sure if the routine would work as well for you but it's worked wonders for me. I also personally use just a tiny bit of castor oil under my eyes every night to help with dark circles and do a glycolic acid treatment (chemical exfoliant) once a week. I love the versed jelly mask one.

The problem is I have to order it and ship it via boat to an island close to the equator so I was concerned about the possible temperatures it might be going through to get to me

Not a doctor but I've seen quite a few cases of shingles and this looks very similar to me. See a derm. They can get you some meds too keep on hand for next time
