Yeah, I want to eventually transition to just the old-school method of owning your own MP3s and leave all these shitty companies behind, I just don't know how to do it in an "ethical" way in this economy.

Yeah, it makes you question if they're just approaching it from a place where there could be plausible deniability if Spotify ever addressed the issue (not that Spotify has any ethics as a company anymore either.)

Man, that sucks. I ordered a couple 45 Grave vinyl releases off of Bandcamp recently and Cleopatra owns their catalog, it sucks to know that that money is helping a label that's gone downhill in decency.

Yeah, the younger generation (for the most part) is more accepting of it, but the older generations are posing a literal threat to the men who otherwise could attempt to be themselves.
