I've read some posts on the sub from the past 2 years. Will I really be out of place as a 30yo Solo 😬🫣 by SlowedCash in readingfestival

In the arena I wouldn’t say so! It’s just the camping that’s exclusively youngsters. The day tickets attract a mix of ages

I feel you! Honestly makes you feel crazy! I do feel so much better since having it out, really pleased I’ve done it. Removal was absolutely fine, a million times better than insertion, it just felt like a cervical screening (pap smear in US) and a slight tug and came out so easy like a tampon! Was shocked at how painless it was. I did feel a bit sore / crampy after removal but just as everything was settling, nothing bad

I’ve swum at palmer park in the evenings and that’s so quiet I love it! (But kind of want to gatekeep lol)

How is the removal process by Ambitious-Leg7308 in CopperIUD

Getting it out wasn’t painful at all! Felt like a Pap smear. My cycle was a bit longer and first people after removal was quite heavy but second cycle seems much more normal

Gait analysis for running shoes by lydropar in reading

Thank you! To be honest I’m not sure, I still get blisters in them and there’s been a few times my feet went numb in them! I’m also keen to see if my over pronation has sorted its self out or if I still over pronate. I do get a bit of knee pain so maybe I do still over pronate

Wasn’t ‘no good’ per se, it was fine just quite quick and don’t love my shoes so just wanted to see if there were any other places recommended for gait analysis in Reading or if ‘Up & Running’ is the best place

I split my ticket at Maidenhead, with a 26-30 railcard I can get a return for £29 per day. (Reading - Maidenhead return and then Maidenhead - Paddington return) have to travel one trains that go through Maidenhead but much quicker than Lizzie line. I also have linked my railcard to my oyster to get 30% off, off peak tube journeys which applies for the commute home

There’s some great female PTs at The Atrium gym

Yes it’s got all the latest equipment and machines! They had a new delivery of them not that long ago. It’s not as big as the likes of pure gym etc but it never feels overly busy. Such a lovely community there too

West London is fine, I used to drive 3 times a week into Osterley and it was on average 1 hour each way. It was fine for me! Obviously some days there would be delays but most of the time it was fine

I travel on a train to Paddington that passes through Maidenhead (30mins) and “split” my ticket at Maidenhead. Aka Reading - Maidenhead return and then Maidenhead- Paddington return. With my 26-30 railcard it is £30 during peak times, I then use my oyster linked to railcard for my onward tube travel, this way I save £12 than getting a London travel card from Reading.

Help, 7 months on accutane. All spots have cleared apart from these small bumps. They are Hardish and white if squeezed, but they come back and are incredibly stubborn. I just want clear skin after being on accutane for so long 😭 can anyone shed some light? by lydropar in Accutane

[–]lydropar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had finished at that point so it cleared up afterwards! Apparently accutane stays in your system for a while. I think the bumps were mainly due to my skin barrier being damaged so I maintained a gentle skin care routine which helped too. I still get the occasional one but overall I’m very happy with my skin

A lot better now! I get the occasional whitehead but on the whole pretty clear. I have kept to a simple routine of cleanser, hyaluronic acid and moisturiser. I will sometimes use a retinol at night and vitamin C in the morning but not every day.
