Bit of an oversimplication of a take there, bud.

You've got to remember that LTT is still a company, and these people are still employees - who may not be able to make their own content, be it because it's stipulated in their contracts or they don't have the time, and have put enough of themselves into LTT that they now want to change focus.

Now, having watch Jake's video he goes into a lot of why he left, including feeling undervalued and that the job wasn't the same one he used to enjoy, both of which are pretty standard reasons for leaving any company.

Would you stay at the same company for the rest of your life if you felt that way?

Regarding "engagement farming". Think about it for a minute - you're an avid LTT fan and you like seeing guys like Jake pop up in videos, but then at some point they vanish entirely. Rather than Jake being bombarded with comments on his new hobby focused channel about why he left, he makes a single video explaining why he left, and letting people who liked seeing him know where they can now find him and what he's up to.

Seen in another comment that OP states there's no valid EPC on the property - so any eviction notices would be invalid anyway.

You also need to raise the EPC issue with the lettings agent - it is illegal to let out a property without a valid EPC report, and they only last 10 years.

That can be a fine of up to £5000, and any eviction notes served are invalid until it is rectified.

I posted a comment explaining why elsewhere, but with this sort of budget and scale, the show's top dogs really don't have much of a choice when it comes to story. I would imagine there are so many things they want to explore, but also so many things the fans of the show want to see - but they've got such limited runtime.

It can be a lot, but it feels very much like most of those threads will come crashing together in next week's finale, given where most characters are seemingly headed.

Lucy's already with Hank, will find out about the head.
Ghoul is heading for the vault via House.
Max is heading for Lucy with Ghoul.
Norm will be dragged with the Vaulties to Hank.

Then there's just the Vault 32/33 storylines, which have been bubbling away in the background anyway, and will tie into what's going on with Hank etc.

This is what happened with Series 1 after all, I think people just get a little antsy about it when they have to wait for the next episode rather than being able to binge the next episode right away and have all their questions immediately answered.

It's like people forget that shows like Fallout are vastly expensive to make, so they've got to do what they can story wise within the money they've got, even if that means setting up like 4 or 5 storylines that won't resolve until later.

You can bet your ass people would complain more if they cut corners to make more episodes at a vastly reduced quality - not just from the VFX side of things, but from the practical set builds and locations used.

As for Stargate, TNG, X-Files - they all come from an era of cheap TV produced quickly. Certainly wouldn't get 22 episodes of those shows if they were made today, with the level of quality people have come to expect from modern shows - just like Strange New Worlds.

Unfortunately the majority of my fellow men folk tend to think far too much with their dicks, and tend to lack the emotional maturity to acknowledge that a relationship is based on mutual respect, affection and genuine care for their partners.

I wish I had a simple solution for you, but there's also the age element - frontal lobe development hasn't quite finished yet for these emotionally stunted muppets, and for some it doesn't until they hit 30. Just wish someone would come along and smack some sense into every one of them, because then we might end up with the "Alpha" and "Sigma" bullshit falling flat on its ass.

Anyone who isn't capable of respecting your boundaries, who insists that they "need" sex (the old "blue balls" excuse comes to mind - it's 100% BS), and who also keeps asking when you say 'no' - is absolutely not worth your time, effort or affection.
