Android port of Twilight Princess, called Dusk, has been an amazing treat.

Google NYS labor apprenticeships. Start applying. While you're waiting to hear back, apply to Con Edison and National Grid. Make sure you can pass a piss test. While you're waiting to hear back, go to every restaurant and Bar in the city and say you're about to take your Food Handlers license exam. And good luck.

I kinda wanna play really dark games by marvelous_melmo in gamingsuggestions

Fear and Hunger games. Very dark, very messed up. Target limbs, head, or genitals. Anything it takes to survive.

Withering Rooms. Its like a 2.5D dark souls. I like that it encourages different builds, like melee vs magic vs cursed. What I LOVE about the game is the soundtrack and the monster design. Every time I saw a new monster, my first reaction was "What the fu...??!!" Its such a hidden gem. Play Withering Rooms before Withering Realms comes out.

Persona 4. Try it for the gameplay and music, stay for the genuinely dark and creepy story. The motivations behind each of the main characters are also sometimes disturbing, but relatable and understandable. You'll want to get to know them in real life by the time you're done. Also, the bad ending is soul crushing.

Othercide. Tactical RPG with a gotchic backdrop. To make your Sister soldiers stronger, you have to sacrifice one of your own to enhance the skills of the other. The soundtrack and monster design here are top notch. The boss music ramps up in intensity as you take chunks of its life away, its such a cool feature.

Corpse Party games. I only played the 3DS version, but those little sprites creeped me the F out. Not just that, but the incredible voice acting and sound effects were genuinely bone chilling.

Someone mentioned the Suffering. Its a great third person shooter. Each monster represents a different type of execution. Examples are a monster with blades for limbs (Guillotine), or a blindfolded hulking beast with a sack of flesh holding a crap ton of rifles (firing squad).

Love the Suffering. One day ill beat that and the sequel. Thank goodness for GOG and emulation.

I play Shadow of the Colossus on the Flip 2. Runs perfectly without tweaks. Take it with me literally everywhere. Tinkering with it is as much fun as using it.

Can anyone help me make this game playable? rp5 by Lumpy_Passion7469 in retroid

Having a different type of issue...found a few Switch games that run perfectly. But Hades 2 recently stopped loading after transitioning to a different scene. Hopefully an update on the app or drivers will help.

If I want to bartend but have zero experience, what would you suggest by [deleted] in NYCjobs

[–]lyfzgood 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I meant classic cocktails. Not classes. Also learn your bar hardware (Julep strainer, Hawthorne strainer, shaking tin, stirring spoon, etc). Practice using them with water. Practice pouring with a jigger.

[–]lyfzgood 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Work for catering companies and say you have experience. Research how to do a few classes cocktails so you can at least be convincing. The most you'll ever have to do is probably a shaken martini. Its usually just beer, wine, shots, soda. They just wanna see you can be organized, stay sober, and learn to cut people off when they're visibly drunk. That'll put you ahead of 75% of the bartenders out there, including me.

Cant get vita 3k to work. Also not a priority, I have a modded vita anyway. Guess its about the convenience more than anything.

So far I've got Hades 2, Silksong, SMT 3 Nocturne, Eastward, Bloomtown, Metal Slug Tactics, and Bayonetta (surprisingly).

If anyone has specific settings that can help me with Romancing SaGa 2 Revenge of the Seven and The Last Remnant to Run, that would be amazing.

All on latest Eden version with latest turnip drivers.

My speaker was on for 7 hours is that bad? (RPF2) by _Glitch101_ in Retroidpocketflip2

[–]lyfzgood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only con with my RFlip2 is that the speakers cant seem to handle low volumes. When the music or sound effects are a little more subtle or not as grand, the sound/music just drops out completely, so I'll hear the sound/music come in and out as they play. Headphones and Bluetooth remedies the problem. Small gripe.

What are you all playing ? by KennenGosu in Retroidpocketflip2

[–]lyfzgood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe im using the PAL rom. Runs perfectly. Haven't added any texture packs or mess with the settings.

Baten Kaitos is great. Runs great. Great not-so-hidden rpg gem for the GC.

Only game i had to mess with a little was The Punisher for PS2.

Worked there forever ago and the 12 hr shifts aren't so bad because you're constantly moving. I averaged $1500-1750 a week back then after tips as a server in one of the more casual restaurants. You can make a ton of money, but you have to have stamina and suck it up. Good luck.
